just turned 62 a few weeks ago and my wife let me pick out tobacco
today in Columbus, her treat, so 2 tins of something new. So we get
home and I show her Vivian's photo and the two new pipes and asked her
where did I go wrong? She was real quick to say, "well you were in
the pipe shop today and you shoulda picked out a pipe". She's so
quick with a clever response. But now I'm thinking, if my wife had
bought me a pipe, or two, I'd still have the never ending dilema of
what to buy her for a bithday, Christmas present, etc. So maybe its
for the better.
You're one lucky guy, both those pipes are fine looking instruments.
Especially like that Tinsky, they're easy to break in and season very
well to a dedicated tobacco.
Once again, Happy Birthday, have many more.

Happy birthday, Tim. Viv has superb taste and a loving heart. I like
that Tinsky and I know you collect Ferndowns; the prince is a good shape
for beach-walks if it is not too windy, seems to fit with the rolling
waves and undulating dunes.
