I do not store opened tobacco tins or pouches in the car in the summer, but
I will store unopened tins of Virginias in the hot car. It tends to
accelerate aging somewhat.
I have to drive around the state, and I will take a pipe & tobacco pouch
with a day's supply in my jacket pocket. The pouch is an inexpensive
Novalite and readily fits in the inner breast pocket.
50-gram tins and the zipper-seal bags you get two ounces in are
pocketable, too.
ANYTHING you get has been shipped in trucks and other vehicles,
sometimes during great heat and cold. When it comes to tobacco, a
perishable, I try to limit additional temperature extremes.

It works, just did it. Left a sealed mason jar in the trunk of my car
for about week with ambient temps at about 100 I am sure it was quite
warm in there. Man what a difference...the tobacco lost it's
greenness.

Don't give up 5 minutes before the miracle happens...
Is that thing aerobic? If so, then there is no problem with unopened tins.

Yesars ago, my local tobacconist and I were working on the blend I have
smoked for all these years. He recommended storing the new mixtures in the
trunk of my car.
For months I was smoking one blend at home, one at the office, and had two
stored in the car. Seemed to work.
