Art Ruppelt was born in a small manger to poor jewish parents in a
small, middle eastern country that was under Roman occupation. His birth
was a Virgin one, which his Dad, to this day, still doesn't completely
buy altogether. As a lad they moved to Ohio. Ohio received that honor
after it lost the coin toss with New York, and the end of a lengthy
legal battle.
Art wanted to carve things as a child, that desire having been come by
honestly, as his father was a carpenter. Art's first carving project was
a tamper for his father made of Land O' Lakes butter with the
predictable results. The Ruppelts wanted more for their son, however,
and yearned for a profession that would make his family proud. What they
got instead, was an attorney.
His family tried to dissuade him "Wouldn't you rather be a nice
Doctor?". Art would always have a variation of a standard reply "Sorry,
Ma. Some kid just fell of his tricycle, and we're going to nail that
heartless Mattel and their dammed Big Wheel to a legal cross for
Beaucoup Dinero!!!"
Art attended the finest law school that his grades and finances would
allow. The Herman Scholnik Shyster Academy & Bar tending School of West
Hollywood. It was here that he earned his nickname "Buzz", from the
self-medicated state that he attended classes.
Buzz makes his living today, both as a carver of beautiful tampers of
dangerous materials <g>, and as an attorney at law; frequently at the
same time in court, much to the chagrin of both his clients, and the
presiding judge.
Buzz, like Greg Pease and I, was born under the Chinese sign of The Dog,
and the element of Earth. Here's what the Chinese say about "Dogs"
Honest, faithful and sincere
Respect tradition, value honor, and enjoy helping
people.
Very righteous, and against injustice
Good at socializing with friends, are intelligent,
caring
and good listeners.
Has the most profound sense of duty.
Very reliable in keeping secrets. Never gossip.
Agreeable companions.
Born old and get younger as they age.
They take everything very serious. You may hear the
Dog
complains about anything, but as he gets older, the
less he
takes his own criticisms seriously.
In a relationship, the Dog is always the giver.
Honest and
straightforward in love.
That's our Buzz! Everyone wish this great guy a Happy Birthday!!

Happy Birthday Buzz.
Loved your biography. I noticed though, that Bear left out that little
incident in the city park and the undercover vice squad, but hey,
nobody's perfect.

Anyway, I think you are good enough :-) Congratulations

It's just like Buzz to skip town when he knows there's going to be an
ASP birthday party. He doesn't like buying cake for everyone because
he's saving all his money for new earrings.
