I used to be an active member of this group quite some time
ago..............may 5 or so years ago. We'll, I started smoking my
pipes again...........and back into buying again..........(sold off
over 200 of my pipes to fund my photography business).

We'll to any of you that remember me............Ciao..........and hope
you are well. To the rest of you......I look forward to getting to
know you.

Since I've been out of the loop for the past few years..........I'll
start with a basic question: Who are some of the new pipe makers that
I should be considering some current upgrades to what's left of my
collection.

Welcome back, even though I wasn't here on ASP 5 years ago. We like
new people as well. I always like Mark Tinsky. He always makes good
pipes that are far above average.

Mark! How have you been, mi amigo? I have recently returned to the
fold as well (between cranking out close to 5k words a day for work
and trivial things like three heart attacks and a quad bypass in the
past three months alone, have kept me away from the keyboard during
"off time").

As far as your "back to pipes" query, are you seeking emerging US
talent(?), emerging talent from around the globe? Some amazing things
have been happening in the past couple of years.

Yea, I met Bruce Weaver the other day at a local pipe club
meeting............Jodi Davis and Todd Johnson were there as well.
Nice to see my old friends again.
