Does anybody know anything about Midnight Auto Parts? They seem to have
very nice pictures but I had such a bad experience with VSI that now, I
am carefull with any others. I would like to know if anyone deals with
MAP or had ever dealt with them so I know what kind of people they are
and what their pictures are like. Thanks for the replies!

Hi Sylvain

I recently purchased a CD from MAP. I got sick of their slow website,
and decided to bite the bullet and buy it. I was a little concerned
initially,
but it turned out OK. They are indeed legitimate.

The CD has about 2500 images on it, which is basically all of their own
work. They told me that they are about to release a CD with around
4000 images, apparently all original. When they do, they said they will
advertise.

The CD itself has a great variety of pictures on it, from young girls
through to middle aged ladies. They smoke cigarettes, cigars and pipes.

I am assuming you are a mostly interested in cigars - I'd guess there
are around 400-500 pictures with girls/ladies smoking cigars.

Let me know (by email since I won't be following this newsgroup too
closely) if you'd like some more information about contacting them.

Cheers
Jim

--->How about posting their website URL, so that those of us who are
interested can contact them?

Well, their website is http://idk.dreamscape.com but unfortunately at the
moment
it's very slow. They plan to speed it up soon apparently.

I contacted them by telnetting to their bulletin board system:

telnet idk.dreamscape.com

This is also very slow, but it's text based so it is bareable (unless you
want to
try downloading the pictures, in which case it's also too slow). Once you
telnet to their site, you can leave messages for the sysop when you log off.
That is how I contacted them. They were very responsive, normally giving
a reply within a day. The phone/fax contact details are there when you log
out as well. Incidently, it's free to log in and send messages, but you have
to pay to get any pictures from them.

I am the infamous Isadore D. Kaye who took all those pictures. In 2010, my wife, Trish, left to live with another man and I stopped making new material. The reason for that was that I remarried and my new wife did not care for it. On 9/11/2012 my home was fire-bombed in a terrorist attack. All of the original photos were burned to ashes and every CDROM was melted. The system ran slowly because I had a sucky ISP at the time. It actually was quite fast and snappy for computers on my LAN. We had about 12 million subscribers by the end of 1999. That is quite a few more than Fakebook ever had.

Still telling tall tales after all these years? No wonder Trish left you.

Your house was not firebombed... It's still quite there as it always has been.

You never had 12 million subscribers, and your software was buggy as hell.

But nice attempt at revisionist history.
