I feel bad, I love to push on them so, to watch them squirm and spit.
I love to poke them and prod on them while they scream out
affirmations in an effort to provide bouyancy to their ever sinking
spirits. I love to let the air right out of their pretty little
balloons.

Thank goodness for the divine excuse so I don't feel too bad.

The majority of ars posters are enemies of Barbara Schwarz and defame

If going into someone else's yard and kicking the "underdog" of the

You know, the church isn't *all* a joke. But you can't appreciate the non-
joke part until you *get* the joke. It's a very *involved* joke. Ivan
Stang as Wizard of Oz behind the curtain fits in very well with the
"joke".

Suppose nothing else were "given" as real except our world of desires and passions, and we could not
get down, or up, to any other "reality" besides the reality of our drives--for thinking is merely a relation of
these drives to each other: is it not permitted to make the experiment and to ask the question whether
this "given" would not be sufficient for also understanding on the basis of this kind of thing the so-called
mechanistic (or "material") world?...

Suppose, finally, we succeeded in explaining our entire instinctive life as the development and
ramification of one basic form of the will--namely, of the will to power, as my proposition has it... then one
would have gained the right to determine all efficient force univocally as--will to power.

The world viewed from inside... it would be "will to power" and nothing else.

Perhaps you failed to read between the lines. He was mocking you because
your metaphor was so off base. Rev. Stang doesn't manipulate anything. He
writes books produces a radio show and does other sundry things involved
in maintaining a joke religion. We are not under his authority in any
way. There are people who don't get the joke and are offended by the way
they are treated by people who do get the joke. They try to get even by

Not according to you. According to you, Stang must be a scared little

another way.

>They are not "exactly the same in all ways". That was absurd.

But the analogy you actually drew was completely out of left field.
There is no reason to assume Stang is a "scared little man" except
because of the comparison to the wizard of oz. There is no logical
connection.

So if you are going to throw one similarity to the wizard of oz in
there with no logical reason, you might just as well throw them all
in, which was my point with "the same in all ways".

You threw the one in without any criteria at all, and so you might as
well throw them all in.

Thunder crashed, Pisces laughed madly, then wrote:

>I wonder which one of us is the Tin Man?

Sometimes late when things are real
And people share the gift of gab between themselves
Some are quick to take the bait
And catch the perfect prize that waits among the shelves

But Oz never did give nothing to the Tin Man
That he didn't, didn't already have
And Cause never was the reason for the evening
Or the tropic of Sir Galahad.

So please believe in me
When I say I'm spinning round, round, round, round
Smoke glass stain bright color
Image going down, down, down, down
Soapsuds green like bubbles

Oh, Oz never did give nothing to the Tin Man
That he didn't, didn't already have
And Cause never was the reason for the evening
Or the tropic of Sir Galahad

So please believe in me
When I say I'm spinning round, round, round, round
Smoke glass stain bright color
Image going down, down, down, down
Soapsuds green like bubbles

No, Oz never did give nothing to the Tin Man
That he didn't, didn't already have
And Cause never was the reason for the evening
Or the tropic of Sir Galahad

So please believe in me

Nobody killed Kennedy. You know how on the shampoo bottle it says
"lather, rinse, repeat"? For years, Kennedy lathered and rinsed, but
he didn't repeat. Then that day in Dallas, his head finally just
exploded.

Truth be told I probably have a lot more in common with L. Frank Baum
than I do with any of his characters. That is probably true of just
about any SubGenius.
