Next Sunday the 13th, there's going to be a Women'nRock
Festival/ Benefit for Heart Disease with a dozen Women's Bands
from around the country. My brother is playing in one of the bands
(no, he's not wearing a dress). It's going to be outdoors at Bull Run, Virginia,
the site of two fierce Civil War battles. Dinsney was going to build a HUGE
theme park there, but they got voted down. The chyk-leader in the band
my brother plays in is pretty good, she's funny because she always looks
clumsy and uncertain setting up and warming up, but she changes gears
and Wham! she is sooper! Afterwards, she looks like, "Duh! What happened?"
I dunno if there will be a CD from this, but I expect so. This seems like a
long time from the Paramont Northwest days setting up the Coliseum
when Santana would stay over at our house up by 21st and Lovejoy.
There were giant pre-historic beavers roaming the streets eating trees
and stray dogs, and the skies were filled with Northern Lights because
it was close to the Artic Circle Ice Cream place in those days.
It's true! Just ask Red Mike the Dogfucker from Year of the Frog Productions!
He stirred his coffee with his thumb.
