Actually, all I need is for someone to reply to this post on the newsgroup.
However, it does help to know what time my message arrived on the server.

After visiting your website and reading the "About", I now
understand. It does take time to develop clue. And I checked
and you didn't spam this, so I'll help as much as I can.
Trying to get an idea of propagation by getting people to
email you WON'T WORK. I'm sorry, but there you are.
Readers of a group won't have any idea what time something
arrived on the server. There's certainly nothing in the
headers that will indicate (the datetime stamp is for when
you posted it), and it could sit for hours or even days
before being downloaded.
In alt.slack, König Prüß, GmbH <saur...@weinerschnitzel.com>
gave you a helpful idea or two. You'd best start there. Check
out the searches he mentioned. I know for sure there are maps
of internet traffic, I've even seen one that was real-time.
If you'll stop and learn about how usenet works first, you'll
at least know what won't work for what you're trying to do.
An excellent starting place is probably:

Thanks, 180.

You want to know about Usenet? Bury yourself here for a few months.

I hope I wasn't too curt toward him. I was having fun with a
toothache at the time.
It suddenly occurred to me (DUH!) that he could probably achieve
what he wants by posting to .test groups which send back an email
reply. But then I did my own check. I believe many autoresponders
have been turned off due to abuse. I sent some to half a dozen and
the ones that I got replies on were all from newsfeeds.com and
didn't give the information like the ones I was accustomed to in
the past. (In fact, it rather sucked, but it does let you know how
fast it got there, by the time of reply.)

Excellent site, thanks! I wonder how I'd missed it before.
Neat thing is that it incorporates a number of links that
I had saved separately.
