Fer real!
What had my jaw dropping was the sequence of Jackson's film-making career,
starting with 16mm like the Blair Witch guys did. Also, I'm kind of a sucker for
weird puppets, so the Feebles are fine with me.
I kinda liked The Frighteners, even though Michael J. Fox supposedly
has no Elvis. The Frighteners wasn't even going to be a full-length film
to start with, but it got done pretty well for all that, I liked the effects
very much. Kind of a pulp-horror film, twilight zone, and outer limits.
The ghosts streatching walls and floors was great! That's what ghosts
ought to do!
I hope that Lord of the Rings isn't like a sell-out production,
and that Jackson stays weird even with success.
