The Women'n'Rock Concert had lottsa good music, but one of the best
things there was my discovery of Green Chicken Salad! It's not salad from
green chickens, but kinda like a basil sauce on big chunk chicken salad.
There was a good buffet in a little building next to the stage, and if you had
a stage pass around your neck, and somebody told you to look for the buffet,
you could find it. Giant chocolate chip cookies, too! Musta been 80% of the
people had stage passes, and I felt sorry for the few that didn't, but it seemed
that anybody could get them if they asked, but not many were hitting the buffet.
"The Ordinary Way" was probably the best band name.
I asked her what "Punching Judy" was about, and she said that she was just
frustrated when she wrote it. I thought it was a Boxing Nun song maybe.

I was surprised to find out that heart disease is the #1 fatal health thing for
women, more than cancers. They had a woman MC from DC101, which was
Greaseman's old station.
It's a very big park, and between songs, sometimes you could hear shotguns
from the skeet range. There were deer wandering around and geese flying over.
Since Women'n'Rock is a charity, their $12 CD is probably tax deductible.
