Anyway, I've decide tonight that Pauline Black is a dyke. After all
these years of listening to her music and never clicking, I now know
that she must be a dyke. She's not admitted it to me personally but I'm
99% sure.

Why. I guess she dresses kind of butch, but wasn't that kind of the new wave
thing?

Well, that could be why it's taken me nearly twenty years to come this
conclusion. I thought it was a style thing. She said to a girl in the
crowd at a gig last week "With tits like yours you'd look great in a
Selecter t-shirt - all of the band think so" and it just set me thinking
a bit and it set a few other people thinking the same thing.

She's hit on male friends of mine in the past at shows though,so either her
door swings both ways,or she's recently hopped on the "cool to be a lesbian"
bandwagon.

LMAO...from what I've heard of her (I don't know her at all) she'd be really
pissed that a TradiSkin doesn't even know who she is...
--at rest
PS In case the earlier post about the Selector, her singing, and the band
t-shirt didn't give it away...ah, you figure it out.

She's the awesome lead singer of "The Selector" one of the original
2tone bands (Too Much Pressure, On My Radio). Black tended to dress more
like a Rudie one stage (pork pie and all) and sort of ditched the
miniskirt "go feet girl" look.

I'll tell you a few other things about her. After the Selecter she got
in broadcasting. She then had a late show called Black on Black if I
remember rightly which always had some good music on it. I've not seen
her on TV much since then apart from playing a Deputy Head in a teaching
drama.
