I have been on Ortho for 3 months, but I don't really know if it's doing
anything yet because I'm also currently on Accutane. I *think* I have noticed
that I now break out when I start a new pack of BC though... someone told me
this might be progesterone-sensitivity. Anyway, I'm thinking of maybe
visiting an ob/gyn to see if it would be possible to have my androgen levels
checked, and to discuss which BC pill might be the best one for me (as a
result of finding out my hormone levels). After all, Accutane results will
probably only last so long if breakouts are primarily being caused by hormone
problems... so I want to do what I can to fix the hormone problem. Also, it
doesn't hurt to discuss all of this with a doc anyway, because some women with
excess androgens end up having polycystic ovary syndrome or something
similar... so might as well get it all checked! :)
(I don't really think the Ortho T-C is going to work well for me though)

I've been on it for about 6 weeks along with retin-a and azelex. My face has
cleared up alot but I can't say which one helped. I had the big cysts zits. I felt
like I was doing puberty all over again. (I'm 28).....

My contacts are almost unbearable now. I was on ortho-cyclen til the derm had me
change to the tri and didn't have a problem before. But the tri was to help my
face. Now I'm looking to go back to my other pill so I can at least see....tough
decession...hmmm...to have clear face or see...I hate glasses.
