Chlorinated pools and acne

I always notice the same thing when I visit my sister down in Southern Cal.
I swim every day A LOT!! and hardly get a new zit while I'm there. It also
seems to bleach out the blackheads-- and my fingernails, too. I WISH I HAD
A POOL!! :-)

It has always helped me tremendously...the chlorine is anti-bacterial, it's exactly
like bleach but diluted...a dermatologist once recommended to me that I wash my
face with a water and Comet solution, he told me to fill the sink with warm warm
and add a very little bit of powdered bleach (Comet) and use that to clean my face

I agree with both of you....I think my complexion improves during the
summer months when I am in the pool.

This is a hoot; this is another thing I've wanted to try for ages, but
haven't had the courage. I thought about posting a question about it
here, but figured I get enough "What, ARE YOU CRAZY?!" replies to scare
me off for good. I'm glad -- again -- you brought something like this
