With Google ending Usenet nest month, it will be the end of an era, and
pretty much the end of Usenet.

Eternal-September does not carry alt.skate.figure, so I gotta use an old
workaround from 30 years ago when I used Penet to post, attaching
alt.skate.figure after, say, putting alt.skate before it.

Among a lot of things, CityTV in Canada now has Bob's Burgers on Sunday
nights. So for the guy here who is a Bob's Burgers fan, just get one of
these dime a dozen IPTV services from abroad, and then tune on on CityTV
on Sunday nights at 9:00PM.

At 8:30 there is a new show called Crapopolis, on CityTV.

Family Guy is on at 9:30 and the Simpsons have made the jump to Canada
as well, being on City at 8:00PM

All times Eastern and Pacific.

One new network out of Canada, the Channel Zero network has 20/20, which
was for years hosted in America by Barbara Walters, but has now made the
jump to Canada and is now hosted by John Quinones. You can watch it at
9pm Eastern and Pacific on Fridays on the Channel Zero network.

And on the weekend of the 13th and 14th, the NFL Super Wild Card weekend
will be TSN and CTV out of Canada.

And with the actors and writers strike ended, which affected Canadian TV
as well, Chicago Fire, Med and PD return to CityTV on Wednesdays
starting January 17.

And one other show that had made to jump to Canada is 60 Minutes, on
Global TV Sundays at 7PM Eastern and Pacific, 6PM Central.

City also still has Price Is Right at 10:00 and Lets Make A Deal at 11

I just found out that as part of shutting down Usenet, Google Groups is
no longer allowing posting (though you can still read posts until their
22 February shutdown of Usenet)

This means that one Jeannie Douglas can no longer respond to anything I
post, because Google Groups is her only outlet to post to Usenet, so
that is one "Wiley Coyote", as it were I will not have to deal with her
anymore.

I can post whatever I want now, and never hear from her on Usenet ever
again.

Eternal September is the last of the free Usenet servers out there.

AIOE is gone, Anonymouse is gone, and Google Groups is just about to
stop Usenet

No more dgs, no more Jeannie, no more Portland Ice Skating Society
flaming me

I'm LOVING IT
