Not the poster, Sacha, but perhaps the group. The person in question
did do a most revolting anti-homosexual screed here, bizarrely naming
Gordon as a "queer." And right now he's doing an anti-homosexual riff
over on 50+friends. I don't know how to cut-and-paste, but you can
find it if you try. Toci
LOL!"
Which clashes wildly with what Judith and Sacha have said about me!

But who would want to read his rants?
Yet again yours is the first post I read in this thread

I may have been wrong about the poster, but I know I saw it on that group.
If it wasn't Charlie, I'm sorry I said what I did, although I've seen such
things from him here and on afpf.
I did try to find the post, but I can't seem to get anything that old. It
was several weeks ago, I think.
Joy
There are only two or three who have gotten that nasty about homosexuals on
any of the newsgroups, and Charlie is most definitely one of them. If you
don't think Charlie has ever done such a thing, you haven't been reading all
his posts. It has happened on afpf, and here too, I believe. I know I saw
that post on the louis lamour group, the one and only time I looked at that
group. That is the reason I unsubscribed immediately. However, I couldn't
find it when I hunted after it was questioned. I dont' remember the thread
title, or I'd do a search.
Joy
So what! I will post what I like where I like and don't give a fuck
what you think about it.
You are a fucking lying bitch UNLESS you produce a cut and paste copy
of what I said on alt.books.louis-Lamoir that was " a nasty homophobic
rant". THAT was what you said. I do not hide my posts so show that you
are not lying.
PROVE IT BIG MOUTH!
Then she shouldn't lie about reading them.
Charlie
Likely you are right, Sacha. A person of good character has no problem
saying they made a mistake. What is more human than that?
The continueing effort to make a group that was gotten togeather for
such personal and affectionate reasons does not deserve to be put down
like this. We know the effort everyone there has made to avoid this
kind of thing.
You are very fair in your statements on this and I appreciate it.
Charlie
All I can say, and still be honest, is that I know I saw the post an abll.
I thought Charlie made it. There is a possibility that it was made by
someone else. If so, I'm sorry I said it was from him.
I didn't mean to give the impression that the newsgroup was beneath me
because of that post. I resent, and have objected to, any posts of the
nature you mention. I lost a good friend by making such an objection. I
stay with this, and two other newsgroups, because, although I deplore the
nastiness, there are people who post here (and there) whom I like. However,
I do not want to add another newsgroup where the same sort of thing goes on.
I certainly had no idea this would be such a big deal, although I shouldn't
be surprised, considering the way some people keep dragging up old grudges.
I am very sorry that people are upset by what I said. I realize that it
would have been better if I'd kept quiet about it. However, I can't deny
what I know I saw, no matter how many people tell me they didn't see it.
Obviously, after all this fuss, there would be no point in my trying that
newsgroup again, because I wouldn't be welcome there.
Joy
I appreciate your bending over backward to be fair, Sacha. It may have been
a mistake, but it wasn't a lie. I logged onto that group precisely once.
It is the only new group I've tried since afp was reactivated, so I know
that's where I saw the post. There is a chance it wasn't Charlie who made
the post, but it was certainly my impression at the time that he did, and it
was very much the same as things he has posted elsewhere. I know it wasn't
on one of my regular groups, because it was an original post, not a
response, and I have Charlie killfiled on my usual groups.
I wish I hadn't said it, but I can't take it back, because that *would* be a
lie.
Joy
Thank you, Sacha. At some point in the future, I may try it again.
Joy
Please don't.

Thank you, Barry. However, I think there is at least one person who
apparently posts there who would not want me to do so.
Joy
Looking at the post further, I don't think Charlie actually posted it there.
It was a copy of something he had posted here.
So, you did see it there. Charlie did write it. Charlie didn't post it.
Charlie saw it too, because he commented on it.
Hope that clears things up.

Val we really don't need to read over and over the filth from this man.
Isn't enough that we know he said it. The fact that it was posted to asp
and not abll really doesn't alter the depth to which this man will go
when crossed.
That anyone can excuse his words just because they didn't happen to be
posted on abll just amazes me.
Joy did not lie, she was not to know that the post in question had been
copied from asp. Joy certainly does not deserve the kind of vitriol that
she is being subjected to now.
If only people would ignore the attempts at disruption that has gone on
since certain members chose to move on, this kind of proliferation would
not happen.
We have people posting here who, though part of that other group have
said the most denigrating things about this group and those that post
here, I find that both hypocritical and unacceptable.
I also find it amazing that despite the history of the kinds of posts
made by the man in question, there are still some who are attempting to
suggest that the posts were in fact made by a troll. Not at all. All of
us that have posted here and on afpf for many years are more than well
aware of the kind of invective he is capable of.

Charlie posted the original in here, and it was an obscene insult aimed
at me, so I ought to know!
Anyone who is a "friend" of Charlie must accept that they may be judged
by association.
Thank you, Lyndon.
Joy

Thank you, Val.
Joy
Thank you, Jean, and thanks to everyone else who defended me.
Joy
I wish people would stop accusing others of making those posts. They have
no idea what they are talking about. I know who it was, but I promised I
wouldn't tell.
Joy
So this entire episode was set up with your co-operation.
Enjoy the results.
Charlie
I am not well but that doesn't make me blind. I haven't followed all
of this but I know who posted Charlie's post from sixty plus to the
Louis group. Why he did it, I don't understand, or maybe I do as he
also tried to cause trouble in other areas.
What should be foremost in our minds is that Joy didn't lie, she did
see a post "attributed" to Charlie on the Louis L group, although,
Charlie did not post it. Therefore Charlie was annoyed because he was
accused of posting it.
What we should be concerned about is the motive of the anon causing
trouble? Why? Hasn't life taught him anything, why isn't he content,
why did he do this in such a cowardly way? I will not name him, no
matter how much I am pushed to do so, I will let him ask for
understanding.
With regard to Charlie, some of you push his buttons, knowing his
Achilles tendon, why do you do it, you don't know his life and the
awful pressure he is under. However, I DO NOT excuse Charlie's attack
on Joy, she deserves better, she is my friend and hopefully after
this, she and Charlie will realise they have both been used to create
trouble on group.
I'm bowing out of this thread now, not because I can't take the heat,
simply because the person who sought to cause trouble has done so,
adding to this thread will not help matters, by any of you here.
I hope you feel proud of yourself, weak person who did this, of
course I know who you are, remember the awful email you sent me? I
still have it and shared it with another. Look after yourself won't
you, remember about God paying his debts...
Yes I remember thinking that last month, [schreef in bericht ] , that
appears on all my replies. I thought well they must know it is me now, in
fact when Charlie thanked me politely twice, I was almost certain of it.
G.
Don't believe everything you hear about me, I agree I am no saint but......
anyway you have found a way to disrupt this peaceful group again, unlike you
I will and have taken responsibility for my mistake, so as Joy said it is
now done. I have a feeling the mails and secret posts will be flying as I
speak and graham the serpent may loose some friends, ok I was daft, but I am
at least a polite serpent.
Goodnight
Cloggie the serpent.
You most certainly not polite. You are dispicable and slimey and
***alone***. You have a life no sane person would want. You hurt your
back and you are A L O N E...
Your only enjoyment in life is causing problems for happy people.
There are few people happier than Sacha. And you just can't stand that
can you, weakling?
Charlie
Do you ever remember me doing anything sneaky and snake like Marsha?
You hate my guts, but you know well why, and when I do something. You
can keep at me all the time because I don't run and hide, I stand and
take your nastiness. Constantly.
Charlie
They already must know, Joan. Just they choose to ignore
it/excuse it for some odd reason.
--
Jean B.
I agree. And I don't think Graham has a habit of making such
posts or causing trouble. Charlie, however, is extremely nasty
and crude on a regular basis.
--
Jean B.
Yes your sleazy little fuck face Graham was pretty slick and there was
some guessing. So what!
Charlie
I think you would enjoy the group.
Robert
Good grief! Are they all so dumb in abll that they didn't suss that
out?
LOL!

I am satisfied that the decent people in the group, the ones I consider
to be my Internet friends, are aware that Charlie was the originator of
the offensive post aimed at me.
If anyone considers him to be an acceptable acquaintance, I have nothing
further to say to them, in fact, that is why I consigned Jingles to my
kill file.
>> Graham seems to specialise in causing trouble for others and sliding away
LOL. It's amazing how fast she can go from denying knowledge of any such
post with Charlie's name attached to it, to now knowing all the time that
there was a trouble maker on the loose intent on destroying Louis Land.
Oh? That concept is alien to me. And I'm glad it is!

Except Graham of course, he's the new Devil.

That's part of the point, isn't it? I took a look and was
astonished by the blindness and hypocrisy. While I may not KF
everyone who posts there, I sure will KF anyone who comes here to
disrupt things and then just speaks of asp with derision etc.
Also, surely they must understand that any of us could go post on
abll if we chose to and that we have simply decided not to do so.

files?

I was taught to step firmly and decisively into the centre of the boat,
and once had to do so when half a mile from shore.
Bobbie's granddaughters will know that rule. ;-)
I will accept a public apology from Sacha as and when proffered, to
assuage her acute embarrassment...
Thats good. You have me more solidly than ever, here.
Smoooooch.
Charlie
Yes you are that way. Cause an enormous disruption then run and hide.
You will surface again and I'll not forget.
You miserable piece of shit.
Charlie
Too right.
I admit I would have liked to see Graham offer an apology for not making
it clear , when accusations were flying that you and I were *not*
responsible for the offending reposts.
How are you today m'dear, how is the cough? I did venture out into the
lane and didn't end up in the ditch, but I had a couple of scary moments
on the hill on Magna Road...and Tescos was absolutely packed.
Bobbie
Me too, that will made the second time she will have to apologise to me
for totally unfounded accusations.. I wouldn't count on it though Gordon.

How did you know I have a cough? ;-)
It comes and goes, especially if I walk into a cold room, yet when I'm
out walking it just disappears.
I think there is congestion due to shallow breathing sometimes, and the
pipes don't get cleared. Exercise cures it!

I haven't been out today. I tried to locate some rock salt for

No. Drama queens need a constant feeding. It really must have been very
galling for them to notice precisely how much we all missed their presence
here after they threw their hissy fit and flounced out of here. It's no
surprise to see them back here and flouncing all over again and claiming
never to have done a flounce out of here in the first place.
:-)) You haven't been watching enough mucky TV.
