I still monitor the group. I moved and landed close to where I had been. Whittled down by bone infections, I lost another toe in February. As load and pressures change, I now have another problem child that began as a blood blister. My move lasted for more than three months. The move was from one village to another in Burrillville. Assimilating into apt life is a real change. On the down side, lost me mum the same weekend I moved. H. P. Lovecraft wrote a story mentioing this village. The Horror at Red Hook.

sorry to hear about your loss. aging carries it's share of burdens. have been fortunate to only cope with diabetes. may things get better for you!!

I'm still fairly new to the aging thing but mine has been going on longer than I accept the truths. As one generation passes by, another blossoms and flourishes as best we can. My mum left four generations to remember her. I am not sure how soon there will be five generations going again. If so, I'll be another decade or so older if I am to see. One great niece has a brood of four going and a great nephew about to be a dad.

I am ever wary of type 2. Although I was put on metformin at one point, diet had reversed the numbers. Some years ago when I was doing the hyperbaric treatments, I had to dump the metformin and had to gobble glucose tablets just to get up to 120, even after a meal. No meter here but I suppose I should have one. I also lost weighht during that treatment period and would gladly now hop in a tube for a couple of hours a day.
