I'm still fairly new to the aging thing but mine has been going on longer than I accept the truths. As one generation passes by, another blossoms and flourishes as best we can. My mum left four generations to remember her. I am not sure how soon there will be five generations going again. If so, I'll be another decade or so older if I am to see. One great niece has a brood of four going and a great nephew about to be a dad.
I am ever wary of type 2. Although I was put on metformin at one point, diet had reversed the numbers. Some years ago when I was doing the hyperbaric treatments, I had to dump the metformin and had to gobble glucose tablets just to get up to 120, even after a meal. No meter here but I suppose I should have one. I also lost weighht during that treatment period and would gladly now hop in a tube for a couple of hours a day.
