Whatever happened to: Eric Shea - 70s child actors thread

I wanted to start this thread for actors that I grew up with in the 70s that
have "disappeared". I watched "yours mine and ours" the other day w/Henry
Fonda and Lucille Ball (a young Tim Matheson played the oldest son!) and
this younger boy named Eric Shea was on as one of the sons. Whatever
happened to him? And Pamelyn Ferdin, and so many of the other young actors
in the 70s, like that young girl who played opposite Rex Smith in that movie
about a girl who falls in love with a rock singer (he had a big hit with a
song from the film -- "you take my breath away").

Anyone out there care to answer or join in?

Someone posted the address to his Pamelyn Ferdin website awhile back. I kept it
since I went to school with her (nice girl).

Actually, Pamelyn Ferdin showed up at a Star Trek convention several years ago
I think. She's been out of the business for years but is very happy.

In 1996 Ferdin quit her job as director of public relations for the Center for
Animal Care and Control, apparently claiming mismanagement by the agency.

I just saw Eric Shea on an episode of Gunsmoke called “The Intruder”. I remember he was in Yours Mine & Ours and in The Poseidon Adventure and other small parts on other shows. I wonder if anyone knows why someone as talented as him, didn’t continue his acting career past 17?
