Eric Lindros has his infamous movie quote. This was his
answer to what was the best movie he had seen recently
as he was not playing due to an injury and said he had
spent a lot of time watching videos. Well Eric answered
"Priscilla, Queen of the Desert". This caused a bit of
an uproar on the flyers usenet group. Now it certainly
was a good movie but its not what big he-man hockey
players are supposed to watch. He apparently lives with
a very goodlooking guy called John etc... Also he
suffers from the I'm too busy to have a girlfriend
routine. He was linked with some female college
basketball player but that was denighed publicly by one
of the parties (I think the agents should make sure
every one is in agreement before send off the press
leak...) ***End of post....
Now, I remember when the item about the "Priscilla" movie hit the paper.
It was definitely one of those things that make you go HMMMM... The
mention of Eric's living with a good-looking man named John: I've never
seen a picture of him, but his name is John. On a local sports-talk
station they said (because his living arrangement happened to be
mentioned in an otherwise bland magazine profile) that this guy John was
a "go-fer" or errand runner.
The mention of being involved with the female college basketball player:
there was a rumor that they were engaged which was denied by the girl's
mother, among others. Whether they dated or not I have no idea. For what
it's worth, anytime there's a gossip item about Eric spotted at a
restaurant or nightclub, he is always said to be alone, or with
teammates, or a male friend. I can't recall the last time that he was
spotted with a woman in public.

can fly, why can't I?"
Brain: "Because you're a MOUSE."
Pinky: "Oh, well when you put it that way it all makes sense, doesn't
it?"

i don't know, honey, Joe's post was much more convincing to me. :)
who's next?
paul, arbitrator, thanking mia for her thoughtful input, nonetheless.

I've read items in the past that hinted at Adam Oates and the
now-retired Cam Neely.

And Stephane Richer (now with Tampa Bay) -- when he was with the
Canadiens, there were a lot of rumours in Montreal that he was gay.

It was pretty widely reported that Stephane Richer and Roch
Voisine were an item.

they wouldn't happen to be his ex-housemates, would they?
what's wrong with a bunch of guys living together?
