He was 21 when he died of a drug overdose - according to IMDB.
I had never heard of him before I read an article (several years ago...
maybe Cosmo....). with accompanying mug shots. They were (about 12)
lined up in chronological order. He really looked worse and worse with
each subsequent arrest. Very sad how his life turned out. He was
very handsome and could have really made something of himself. He
was quite popular with the young fast hollywood crowd, according to the
artice. Does anyone remember him or his drug problems & arrests? The
article said he died in a hotel room. The maid found him sitting on the
floor, hunched over with a needle still stuck in his arm. Very, very
sad, imho. I've lost 2 cousins to Heroin and I can tell you from the
familys perspecive this is one incredibly horrible way to go. Talk
about dying a very slow death.
Kinda sad to think we'll could very well see the same type of article
describing the life & times of Robert Downey Jr. or Andy Dick.

ps.... a *great* movie depicting the life & death of a "hollywood"
junkie is "Gia". I believe the actress was nominated for a Golden Globe
for her portayal of the doomed model. Couldn't find in in the IMDB
search. It's a great rental anyway.

Oh duh I forgot to include that part! He was an "up & coming" (no comments
please) handsome young actor in the 80's & early 90's. He was in the
Outsiders
tv series and in "My Own Private Idaho" among a few other things. He had
great potential due to his chisled features, outgoing personality, and good
acting skills (from what I've read). Then he became a drug addict and
eventually died. He dated Drew Barrymore and hung out with the young
hollywood crowd. It's just sad his life ended so quickly. I'm sure lots
of people don't remember him, it was a long time ago and he was hardly
"famous" yet. I was just asking because of the article I read and all the
talk about drugs in hollywood and what they do to people. I really wish I
could find the article. The IMDB lists one for Premier magazine Dec 1998
but I haven't read that one yet.

I thought he died a loooong time ago but it was just in April 1998. I must
have read about him in the dentist office right before being drugged so
that's why my memory was so bad!

I had the major hots for him while he played Ken in Salsa. That smile, his smolder... *sigh*
Keep searching on the net to find anything about him.
I only find some very sad and desturbing photos of him... even one with a needle stuck in his arm...
Very very tragic...
