Eric Benet's lover reveals how he cheated on Halle Berry

Halle Berry's philandering husband cheated on her before and after their
wedding - and even called his "girlfriend" hours before tying the knot, says a
former model who claims she's had an ongoing sexual relationship with the man
for the past seven years.
And days before Berry, 34, celebrated her greatest personal and professional
triumph, model Julia Riley says she was romping with Halle's man, R&B singer
Eric Benet.
"Just days before Halle stood up and collected her Oscar award in front of the
world, her husband was in bed with me," said Riley, 33.
"She may be a top Hollywood star, but she doesn't know how to keep her man."
Just hours before he got married to Berry in 2000, Benet, 36, also took time to
phone Riley to say he loved her and to say he had wired her some money she had
asked him to send her, the model claims.
Riley said it was Benet's lust for kinky sex, and Berry's reluctance to satisfy
his urges, that led him to come back to Riley time after time since they first
began their affair in their hometown of Milwaukee in 1997.
Despite Benet's alleged infidelities, Riley says she doesn't expect the couple
to break up.
"What can he do but salvage it?" Riley said. "At the end of the day he would be
nothing without her. She has got more money than him - she could make or break
him."
Berry, an Oscar winner for "Monster's Ball" and star of the James Bond thriller
"Die Another Day," admitted this year she and Benet had both had psychotherapy
to cope with their personal problems.

Methinks that someone tried to extort money from Eric and/or Halle to keep
quiet and failed miserably. Who really cares anyway. Imagine, a singer who
fools around on his wife. That NEVER happens to other singers.

Ex-actly. Please. You don't "keep" people. Eric Benet is responsible for
his own behavior. If he were a decent man, who took his wedding vows
seriously, he wouldn't be cheating. It's not up to HB to moniter his
behavior. Trust me -- I am faithful to my husband because I take my vows
seriously, and because I want to be an honest, decent person, not because my
husband is controlling me. Does the woman who is sleeping with Eric Benet
really think anyone could keep him from straying? Only one person could --
himself.

Berry seems to have a problem his her husband/boyfriend choice-making.
Beatings and cheatings seem to be the norm. Just as war is diplomacy by
other means, abuse seems to be showing affection by other means in her
relationships. Who can know what is actually going on in private in her
curious boudoir?

Lets mention that that's 'according to her' - her stories don't match up over
time. People have been debating forever who supposedly knocked her around
enough she lost the hearing in one ear, but from what she says about when it
happened, it can't be placed in time or tracked to a person. And given that
I've never seen a picture of her with a hearing aid, one wonders if it ever
happened at all.

That's true. She does seem to be the queen of well-publicized self-pity.
That in itself could be a turn-off, although I think her beaus could somehow
overlook it if she's putting out. That could be the nut of it: not enough
nooky for her highly sexed companions.
