Janine Turner's daughter needs a father

Janine Turner has a special request for Father's Day. The former "Northern
Exposure" star has a very specific item in mind for her daughter — a dad.
Turner, a 38-year-old single mom, schedules her life around her 3-year-old,
Juliette, so they can be together all the time, even when Turner is working.
"I'm looking for a father figure who will be good for her," Turner says in the
July issue of Parents magazine. "I haven't dated anyone since Juliette's
father, but she's going to need a male influence."
Turner, starring in the Lifetime cable series "Strong Medicine," didn't plan on
being a single mom, but broke up with Juliette's father when she was seven
months pregnant.
"The circumstances were not healthy," Turner said about her relationship with
the man, whose identity she has never revealed. "If he wants to come forward in
[Juliette's] life, it should be for the right reasons, not because he has been
publicly put on the spot."
"Maybe someday there will be a reunion with Juliette's father and then she will
at least have him in her life," Turner said. "But at this point in time, that's
not happening."

Actually, I thought it was the son of the owner of the Dallas
Cowboys. The guy won't pay child support, and Turner is afraid
to make an issue of it. Wrong guy?

Rumor around the set of NE was that John Corbin and Janine Turner were
an item, but that ended long before she conceived her child.

I heard the biological father was the obviously "cowardly" son of
Jerry Jones, the owner of the Cowboys. That was who she was involved
with when she got pregnant. Apparently she wanted a child and he
didn't. Personally, I think she would do better if she married that
guy Colby from Survivor 2. He is a fellow Texan and would probably be
a much better catch. At least he did something on his own and wasn't
hiding behind his daddy or his money!!!
