Did Tom Cruise Buy Mimi Rogers' Silence?

She never came clean (with details) about their failed marriage. If anyone
would know if he was infertile, impotent or gay, it would be her. But she has
never disclosed anything. It seems that (aside from her being a classy
lady-which I respect, she *could* just give one sweeping interview..or write a
book...) - she has never been very revealing about her marriage to Tom.

So aside from the class thing - I'm thinking he bought her off with a few mil,
to keep silent about what she knows.

Some gossip I've heard says it was silence for money. I've also heard rumors
say it was Tom's alledged interest in Mimi's brother. I don't know.

Officially, I've only heard it was an amicable split...although neither one
will discuss it.

Actually she did reveal that Tom had a no-boink policy due to his desire to
keep his "tool pure." After that interview, she clammed up, most likely on
orders from her Scientologist masters.

I've seen nekkid pics of Mimi. WOW! Too bad that hot bod was completely
wasted on Tom. I wouldn't mind getting a little piece of that Mimi action
but the moment she starts blabbering about Dianetics and whatnot, out comes
the duct tape to place over her mouth.

According to a quote from Mimi Rogers, "Tom was seriously thinking of
becoming a monk. At least for that period of time, it looked as though
marriage wouldn't fit into his overall spiritual need. And he thought he
had to remain celibate to retain the purity of his instrument. Therefore
it became obvious that we had to split. My instrument needed tuning."

Mimi once said something to the effect that if Tom Cruise were really gay,
she would know it, thereby attesting to the fact that he was, er, fully
functional during their marriage. Now, this could just be helping him out
(I think he is sterile, not gay). But I'll say this I'd take Mimi over
Nicole any day, even if Nicole is a looker.

I thought she was infertile when they were together, but after the split she
went on to have a baby. So i really believe Tom is sterile...after all him and
Nicole have adopted 2 kids, seems to me it all points to a sterile Tom.

I saw the european version of "rapture". You can see her breasts in the
shower scene. (Craig Hosoda says that it is not in the version he saw)

It is not a pretty sight... they are too big, and gravity is pulling
them down.

Certainly, Mimi received a divorce settlement which included an
agreement that she remain silent.

and scientology would never permit her speaking anyway. Especially if
they consider Tom onc of the many gay men they have "cured".

I recently read a story of a gay man who is suing the Church of
Scientology because he is gay, wanted to be "cured" and they claimed
they could do it.

In meeting he had with them, he claims they used John Travolta and Tom
Cruise as example of gay men they had cured. His suit also names
Travolta.. who he said he had seen some sort of "testimonial" from.

The Church of Scientology, of course, has "no comment", but they do
claim they can help gay men be cured (they word if differently). I
would not be shocked if they quietly used these "case studes" (Tom and
John) as examples to convince people of their success.

They just never expected it to spill into the media and for them to be
sued.

At least Mimi looked like she would be fun in bed. I look at Nicole - I see
deep freeze over Sydney. <brrrrr>

Go figure. This apparently is what makes Tom happy.

Actually they use these "case studies" to quietly convince Tom and John to
donate more money to Scientology. (Blackmail).

"Rapture" was one of the WORST movies ever made. I saw it late one night on
a pay channel in a motel. I was so tired that I thought I was only imagining
the horrible scenes since I fell asleep during the flick. The next day I saw
it again and realized it really was as horrible as I thought.

A really dumb movie. I mean REALLY REALLY DUMB.

Mimi said at the time of the divorce that lack of sex was one of the reasons
for the break-up - she said Tom was thinking about becoming a monk or something
and was practicing celebicy. Very odd interview . . .

Hey, you guys just want me to call his mother and find out? She only lives ten
minutes from me and it's a local call. Nobody knows their kid like their mom,
right?? ;-)

The proverbial question needs to be asked:

Does he visit his mother?

INbabe its simple this is what to do:

Say: "Hello Mrs Cruise how are you? I noticed that your
name is the same name as my fav actor Tom Cruise. You
two aren't related are you?"

She will affirm in the affirmative.

Say: "Oh my god that is so cool. You are so lucky to have
such a handsome and talented son like that. Plus he seems
so nice". (sound excited)

She will state that of course he is.

Say: "I bet he was handsome when he was young".

She will obviously say yes.

Say: "I bet he had tons of girlfriends growing up. I bet
you were never able to use the phone".

Now her response will be interesting. My instincts tell me
she will say no.

Respond with: "Thats so interesting. I wonder why?" pause
at this point let her respond.

Simple.

If only her last name was Cruise....it's Mapother.

Dan, it sounds like you're *so* much more proficient at conversation skills
than I. It'll just take a second to look up her number in the book - it's
published, btw. Would you like it?

So when do Tom and nicole finally end this marriage charade that is coming
apart at the seams. They're officially out of the closet. Tom's toughest
acting gig was trying to look interested in the raunchier bits in the
Kubrick flick.

As a gay male, the thought of Tom and Nicole being FsOD is utterly
repellent. One only has to look at Tom to know he is the AntiChrist.
I mean, have you ever seen both of them in the same room at the same
time? And Nicole, I have two words for this glassene-skinned beauty--
tanning bed.
I haven't seen the film yet, but I hope Kubrick only exploits any irony
of these two sexless wonders starring in a sexy movie.

I had heard years ago that Mimi Rogers caught him in bed with her brother. I
had also heard that he bought her out of their marriage for $4M.
And I've always found it interesting that she has never talked about their
divorce.

OK...Let me straighten this out for you. Mary Lee Pfeiffer married Thomas
Cruise Mapother III. They had 4 children together, LeeAnne, Marian, Thomas
IIII (aka Tom Cruise), and Cass. In 1973, they divorced and Mary Lee Pfeiffer
Mapother, married John (Jack) South in 1978. By the way, Thomas Cruise
Mapother III (Tom father) passed away in 1983. His children had almost no
relationship with him between the time the parents split and his death. This
is why Tom dropped his last name of Mapother at the age of 18. He considers
Jack South his father.
