You gotta feel for Geena Davis right now.

She marries Renny Harlin, a reasonably famous director, and thinks they
are going to have a great life together. He directs her in Cutthroat
Island: big bomb. The Long Kiss Goodnight didn't do so great either.
Her career is going down the slope. But she still has Renny, right?

However, one day last December or January, Geena comes home, and finds
her personal assistant, Tiffany Bowne, there. Tiffany's got a secret.
She's pregnant? Who's the father? Why, good old Renny, of course.
Seems he needed more assistance than star treatment.

So Geena, not being entirely happy about this situation, packs Renny out
of the house, calls her lawyer, and fires poor pregnant Tiff. Ms.
Bowne gave birth to one Lucas Mattison Harlin last August (so obviously,
Renny acknowledged that the kid was his. Not that he had much of a
choice). Now, a nasty divorce between the soon-to-be-former Mrs. Harlin
and her cheating hubby.

So what's next for Geena? Well, I was pleasantly surprised to be
reading in the Montreal Gazette today that she will be part of a lecture
group called "Unique Lives and Experiences" The topic? Why, how to
empower yourself. Sounds like she's going to invest a lot into that
speech....

I meant to post this earlier. Somebody did a little summary of the
Harlin/Davis marriage and how it was too much for Gena when she walked
in on Harlin doing her assitant. Later the assistant bore the Harlin
bastard. Anywho, was this the last straw becasue it was her assistant or
because she was knocked up, or what-- because it certainly wasn't the
first time Gena walked in on Harlin having sex. During the filming of
Cutthroat Island I heard Davis walked in on Harlin getting a blowjob
from some starlet. Davis then walked off the set leaving the crew
waiting around all day (and getting paid for it of course)-- just one of
the MANY instances wherein Harlin's behavior resulted in the movie going
overbudget.

Sincerely,

Jules

It would be hard for her to fire Tiffany, since Tiffany quit working as her
assistant and started working as Renny's assistant a year ago.....which should
have tipped of Geena at the time. Geena must be one of those people who live
in total denial. Too bad!

It's to bad that they got divorced. she is a beautiful woman and a
great actress, she's better off without a cheating RAT. i didn't think
they were a good looking couple in the first place.

Yes, total denial that she looks good as a blonde! I sure wish she'd
quit trying to be a blonde 'cause it looks awful on her and she's such a
natural beauty as a brunette.

Then why is it too bad that they got divorced? Your statements
are not logical.

Supposedly Goldblum has an eye so roving it actually leaves its socket
and rubs all over passing females, leaving them slimed.
