Hey, it's the price of fame. You want to famous and you want to be in
showbiz, you've got to deal with the asg curse.

It was Pflug. I think she was married to Chuck Woolery for some time.
Jo Ann Worley was the voice of the dressing cabinet in Beauty and The
Beast.

Last I heard, Jo Ann Pflug was circlin the drain of her career by
cruising the dinner theatre circuit.

Uh-oh. The last time someone asked what happened to someone, the person
in question promptly died. : ( This could be lethal....

That's the face I had in mind. I remember the name Jo ann Pflug, but
not the face. What did she look like? Was she also on the game show
circuit? Or was that Worley? I'm so confused now.

Jo Ann Worley is the comedienne who was on Laugh-In. She's currently
seen(in New York, anyway) in an Old Navy commercial with John Davidson and
Jamie Farr. BUT Jo Ann Worley has carved out a nice career as a
bus-and-truck circuit stage actress. As a matter of fact, several years
ago she appeared in an acclaimed production of "Mame" and she was even in
"Grease" in NYC for a short spell last year.
Jo Ann Pflug was an actress who was never a romantic lead, but usually
played the best friend, sister, or "career woman" in a lot of seventies
TV. She was always a strong character, and co-starred in one of the cult
"Kolchak (sp?) movies with Darren McGavin. THIS is the Jo Ann I'm trying
to find out about.

And the Internet Movie Database didn't have anything on her?

She got to be someone by being the dish in the film MASH, but I
never saw her in another decent film.

Mike,

If you've learned nothing else from David during your time in ASG,
surely you must have learned by now that quantity does not equal
quality.

Jo Ann Pflug was the voice of Sue Richard for Hanna-Barbera in the orginal
1967 cartoon FANTASTIC FOUR (voice veteran Ginny Tyler replaced her for
DePatie-Freleng Studios in 1977;other voices in the Hanna-Barbera 1967
original included Paul Frees).

Later, in 1974 CANDID CAMERA star Allen Funt hired her for yet another
costar (John Bartholomew Tucker and earlier ones were involved).

She doesn't seem to be active, maybe retired now.

As of March 2020 she is 79 years old, turning 80 in May. She has lived in Savanna GA. for some time. She is still in the social scene in the area but retired from the Hollywood scene years ago. Known as a wild one in her early acting sometimes seen smoking large cigars, she had strict moral code of no nudeity in movies. In later years she made major changes in her life becoming a born again christian,She is in a happy second marriage to this day.

We were friends with her and her husband, and spent lots of time together with them in Jupiter, Florida. Haven't seen her in a couple years, though.
