Hi,

Any truth to the rumour that Kevin Costner is dumping his wife because he's
in the process of coming out of the closet? My source isn't totally reliable
on this one so I thought I'd check with you guys.

IMHO most of Kevin's movies are pretty dumb (remember: that's MY opinion and
nothing more) with a few exceptions. I guess my problem is that Kevin is
such a weiner and I wish he weren't gay because, once again, IMHO, it would
discredit the gay rights movement. I mean, Roy Cohn was a real blow, as were
Siegfried and Roy. Not to mention Liberace.

But I guess you have to take the good with the bad, right. We were blessed
with Robert Reed, Roch Voisine, Lily Tomlin, and Jody Foster. We may also
suffer Kevin Costner.

I must now reflect and sort it all out.

My boyfriend heard from a girl whose boyfriend's sister works in LA with EMI
(or was it A&M) that this is absolutely true. I never believed him & Whitney
for a minute, anyway.

Costner gay? Nahhhhh. Based on what I've read, I think he wants out of
his marriage so he can legitimately fool around with other women,
which he seems to have been doing alot during his marriage. I dare say
that Cindy is more than willing to give him his walking papers at
this stage.

No, I don't think he's gay either. I've been hearing too many stories
for too many years about him being a total slut for any woman he could
get, and I've certainly never heard any stories about him with guys.
One thing, though, it's my impression form what I've been hearing that
HE doesn't want out of the marriage, SHE does. Sounds to me like he's
perfectly happy with the status quo, that is, nice little wifey waiting
at home, taking care of the kiddies, while he's out doing whatever
(and whoever) he wants. I think she probably just got sick of it, and
he seems pretty surprised. I read in some gossip column that last week,
when the moving trucks came to take his stuff out of their house, he
just stood in the street all day, looking stunned.

Yes, if it's true, then somebody has been playing a pretty sneaky
disinformation game, because the standard dirt on Costner has been that
the stories of his perfect marriage were horseshit because he started
hitting on every woman in sight (at least as soon as the phrase "I'm Kevin
Costner, let's you and me go to my trailer for a little while" actually
worked on anybody).

Could he be bi-sexual? That would explain how he could be both a
womanizer and a homosexual person in the same breath.

About the first thing I knew, okay, maybe the second, about Sigfried and
Roy was that they were gay.

Anne darling, I firmly believe I speak for the entire gay and lesbian community
world-wide when I state that none of US wish that he was gay...he can go ahead
and stay straight as an arrow and shoot himself as far away from our ranks as

Siegfried and Roy are two magicians known for working with big cats.
They've had a long running show in Las Vegas (at the Mirage, I believe),
and about a week ago their act was televised. I've seen 'em in the
tabloids for years, posing with white tigers and lions and such. I've
heard seeing the show live is amazing. While I'd like to see it some
time, I much prefer Cirque du Soleil, a human acrobatic type circus
from Quebec (Montreal?).

Roch Voisine is a Canadian pop singer from New Brunswick. He hasn't had a
great deal of success in most of Canada or the U.S. but he's extremely
popular in Quebec and over in France and some other European countries as
well, where his francophone albums are big sellers. He's got some English
albums out also. His physical appearance is strikingly handsome.

He's a very handsome French-Canadian singer, *very* popular in Quebec and
France and pretty popular in English Canada. He's recently released an
album entirely in English and would like to follow Celine Dion's
footsteps to U.S. (and world) stardom.

I've heard many, many rumours regarding Roch. Most involved a hockey
player who used to play for the Montreal Canadiens (Roch's an ex-hockey
player himself).

I had heard this rumour, as well. I had seen Wendell in a dark corner of
a restaurant with a woman about 5 or 6 years ago, so I didn't completely
believe the rumour. Then recently, on a local gay BBS, one of the users
claimed that he might be the cause of the rumour. Apparently, he looks
like Wendell, even wears a cowboy hat sometimes. A few other users that
knew him confirmed the similarity in looks.

Besides that, I saw Wendell at Maple Leaf Gardens during a game once (he
was injured at the time and wasn't playing) and he was wearing a light
blue leisure suit! He couldn't *possibly* be gay! ;)
