The gossip on www.la.com has a couple of choice tidbits about Harrison
Ford's sex life, I was fascinated to learn his plain-Jane spouse is a
nymphomaniac who almost broke up Francis Ford Coppola's marriage and
Harry himself had an affair with Julia Ormond, among others. You mean
Harry can't even build up enough sizzle to get some chemistry going with
an actress he is actually screwing? Harry, time to retire. Then you can
spend all your energy chasing young babes and smoking pot. That Indiana
Jones at Sixty is an illusion better left unrealized.

Wasn't there a blind item or two implicating Harrison and Kristin Scott-Thomas
during their Random Hearts shoot? And again, there was virtually no on-camera
chemistry detected as well. Perhaps the pot is muddling his head regarding
career choices too--he is supposed to be abdicating the Jack Ryan throne, and
mucho-younger, Ben Affleck, is said to be the successor. Ay Carumba!

I remember reading this in a book that came out a couple of
years ago called "Easy Riders, Raging Bulls" by Peter Biskind.
There was a lot about Francis Ford Coppola in the early days.
Melissa Mathison was the babysitter for the Coppola family when
she was twelve. Then later on she and Coppola became involved.

They were together for years, and all the while Coppola was
seeing other women and was married besides. He finally had to
tell Melissa that his wife came first, so she immeidiately
started seeing Ford. This was around 1977 or 1978. I am amazed
they could publish something like this, but the author got the
direct quotes from Coppola himself. Wonder how Melissa and
Harrison reacted when this came out?

>Harry himself had an affair with Julia Ormond, among others.
You mean
>Harry can't even build up enough sizzle to get some chemistry
going with
>an actress he is actually screwing?

This was in some tabloids in 1994 or 1995, and they both went
out of their way to deny it. They were supposed to be having a
long term affair. I don't think there is really any proof, but
the stories are out there, so people will talk about it. She got
married just a couple of months ago, didn't she?

Harry, time to retire. Then you can

I still think he is the sexiest guy around. He can chase me
anytime! And as for age...some men just look better and are more
fit than others. Harrison is still young enough to go for it, I
think.

I hear there is some really hot chemistry between Ford and
Michelle Pfeiffer in the movie What Lies Beneath. Does this mean
there was nothing going on between them off-screen? Or...?

I hope not! But I smoked every day for 12 years (quit 18 years
ago!) and it sure muddled *my* head. I also hope he doesn't fly
his plane while stoned. Who knows, maybe his jumping the Clancy
franchise is a good thing for his career. He wanted more risky
films to work on and with more cutting edge directors, so he's
choosing carfully now.

Scott Thomas is about 9 months pregnant now but supposedly the father is
her husband who used to be her gynecologist and who is extremely fat,
extremely bald, extremely ugly and extremely French.

Come to think of it, hasn't old Harry had several plane crashes lately?
Is he flying under the influence or flying by the seat of some babe's
pant?

I don't believe Michelle Pfeiffer would be tempted, it sounds like her
husband is just looking for a good excuse to replace her with a newer
model.

Lovely in the very nice "Horse Whisperer" The movie had it's cornball
moments but I liked the plot, and different atmospheres of the movie.

Under rated IMHO.

She's got something going on upstairs at least.

Unlike the usual HollyWeird bubble brain.

Maybe he wants someone thinner. Not that Michelle can healthily lose an
ounce, but it's pretty apparent from his television shows that he likes
women who are extremely bony.

Since both accidents occured when he was in the company of a male flight
instructor, and both were routinely investigated by the FAA, I think we would
have heard by now if he was fogging up the cockpit. And if he's a pothead, I
want some of whatever he's smoking. It doesn't seem to have done him any harm,
and I'd like to be in his shape when I'm 58.

They were all pretty thin when hired, too. And while Mannheim is
overweight, Lara Flynn Boyle has a shadow of a body. (I don't actually
know about the other women on the practice. But I would think we would all
have heard if they were normal sized, even normal sized for television.
Kelley has a reputation for casting extremely thin women for most of the
female parts in his series.

Ain't that the truth. DEK is going to trade her in pretty soon.

Okay, here's some strange speculation...

DEK obviously has a thing for anorexic chicks but he also has bigger women
on the Practice (Camryn) and Ally McBeal (Lisa-Nichole Carson? Whatever
her name is she's been in re-hab lately).

So, maybe he swings both ways. My *extremely reliable info* says that
Camryn recently ended a long affair with a married guy who broke her heart
but she won't say who it was. I think it's DEK.

The character that Camryn plays on the practice was not originally a part of
the series. In her book "Wake Up, I'm Fat!" (a fabulous read, by the way),
Camryn discusses how she convinced DEK to include her in his show and wrote
that character in just for her.

As for Lisa Nicole Carson, she's not the least bit fat. A good healthy sized
woman, yes, but fat, no.

True, the Ormond stories haven't really been proven. But I know
people who have seen him light up joints right in front of them.
How much clearer can *that* evidence be? As for bars, New York
columnists like Rush & Malloy have reported him being seen in
places like Hoggs & Heffers, Saci, and others. Not just once or
twice, but many times. Don't know if that qualifies as 'hopping'
but it sure qualifies as 'hangin' out.' And flirting up a storm.

Of course, it's just harmless flirting..if some of his fans are
to be believed. He has NEVER cheated on Melisssa, NEVER! What an
amazing, saintly, wholesome man he is! A true hero and family
man, an example for all men to follow! What discipline, what
self-control. Women have come on to him constantly for years and
years, but he always says "No, ma'am! I am a married man!" Yep.
Amazing.

The allusion to

sexism. Just because a

You're right there! :-P This is just what FFC said. Actually,
he used the words 'insatiable', and 'every man's fantasy in
bed', which is not quite the same as 'nymphomaniac'. It's funny
that he would use these words. And I'm really surprised that he
gave this kind of information to the book's author. It happened
so long ago.

I don't
>know Melissa, but she seems to be a good mother. Remember, she
was quite young

fact, he was a

*And* doing it virtually under his wife's nose! *And* continuing
to have affairs with other women besides. Makes you wonder who's
the 'insatiable' one...In all fairness, she may have been young
when they began their affair, but she was in her late twenties
before she stopped, and that was at FFC's request, not hers.
According to friends, she 'worshipped' the guy. So she was a
willing partner in all this.

LOL! Did anyone ever believe that? That's just too way out, even
for Billy Bob! And I think the bar in question was Hoggs &
Heffers, not Saci, but I see your point...no, no, no...Mr F is
simply too much of a class act to *expose* himself to such
dangerous activities in public! :-D

But come to think of it, why would Mr Saci tell anyone anything
that goes on in his place? His descretion in these matters is
exactly why his customers have come to trust him. You'd have to
be a regular, and witness some do-ings yourself, before you
would know for sure what's up with the "fun-loving, but
gentlemanly" Mr Ford.

Isn't a 'whoremonger' a pimp or something? In any case, he's had
his share of adventures with the ladies, to be sure. But will it
ever make the front pages? No way. After all, didn't Liz Smith,
gossip maven extraordinaire, just say this about
celebrities: "Privacy can be acheived by some, if they really
want it"? And *she* ought to know!

HF has always wanted privacy, and he knows how to be discreet.
