Of course he constantly called.....he needs work!

About 10 years ago, he was working at a NY comedy club.
Came in with a few young "buddies," one of which was under
21. All ordered drinks. All got served -- except the underage
one who could not . Barry threw a hissy fit. Called for the owner.
He said, if my friend doesn't get a drink, I'M not going on.....
Little buddy got a drink. The place risked its liquor license for
that. This was told to me by someone who was there and
directly involved. Said everyone who worked there knew
Barry was gay but didn't appreciate him acting like such a dick
and risking all their jobs.

friend of mine son just got "invited" to visit him in California for a job proposal. Kid's a 20 year old skateboarder and Barry Sobel told him he could help him in the skateboard business out there! I don't have a good feeling about this guy Sobel! Anybody got any recent info on him???
