Kitty update
Sarah Cardin
a *very* enlarged lymph node. What's unusual is that no other lymph nodes
are out of the ordinary. The vet thinks that the swollen node may have been
irritated by a foregin object--very possibly a tube put into Maddy's throat
to feed her when she was at the humane society. (Maddy was a very freeaked
out kitty then.) If this is the case, antibiotics should take care of the
infection. So Maddy gets another trip to the vet in the morning, this time
to get an injection. Even with all the uncertainties, this is good news.
Thanks to everyone for their good wishes for Maddy, and please do keep
those fingers crossed.
