Couldn't say much without knowing him. One partner of mine likes for
me to run a graphic description of what I'm doing to her as I'm doing
it, in a low voice that she likes. Doesn't particularly do a lot for
me, but she seems to enjoy it, so I enjoy it.

>2 -- explain to me why men get so turned on by this

Not just men, women as well. And not all, just some. The things that
people like and get turned on by are many and varied, instead of
wondering why, you'd be better off accepting it, and doing it if it
doesn't cause you problems.

Try telling someone what you like about sex, and then why you like it.
If you can give an answer beyond "it feels good" and "I like it", then
you're ahead of most of us.

Funny... I like being rough-housed with... and love dirty talk

I guess it's to emphasize the difference between lovemaking and a good
ol' romp.

Describe and appreciate what he is doing, and what you are feeling, and
be sure to use all the good old-fashioned words. Examples (feel very free
to modify as appropiate): "Oh, yes, stick your cock in me, I love it
when you pound your prick in me, it feels so good to have your cock in my
pussy, my cunt feels so good when you do that, my clit is tingling" that
sort of thing. Repetition is fine. Honesty helps. Don't worry about
'sounding dumb'.

: 2 -- explain to me why men get so turned on by this

It stimulates another sense (hearing) for one thing. Moans and other
appreciative noises do, too, but words are a little different. It
reassures the guy, tells him he is 'doing it right' and that he is making
you feel good. There is a thrill in hearing women use 'forbidden' words
-- possibly related to the madonna/whore complex thing -- the woman puts
herself out of the 'could be your sister or mother' category and into the
'sex animal' category.

Hope some of this helps.

Tell him what it feels like for you, how good it feels, "I really like
having you inside me," stuff like that.

>2 -- explain to me why men get so turned on by this

Can't really say, but I'm sure not all men do. Perhaps it's because it's
just another aspect of sex that differentiates it from other, more mundane
activities such as work, watching TV, feeding the cat, etc. :-)

in my experience -- and only my experience -- i have noticed (please,
please fon't flame me, folks, this is trreading on dainty socio-cultural
ground, i know) that Christian guys, especially those who were raised as
Catholics, like this sort of thing more than Jewish guys do; that middle
class yuppie guys like it more than hippies and back-to-the-land-drop-outs
do, and that the guys from what i call "the fuck me suck me school of
speech therapy" are actually fixating on certain specific WORDS, not on
the phenomenon of descriptive communication while having sex.

You can't tell guys with this inclination, "oh, your cock is so beautiful,
it brings such a dear, sweet pleasure to me, and when you rub the tip of
it on my clit, just gently, just like that, just, so, so smoothly, i love
to look at it." Nope, they want to hear, "stick that nine inch iron rod up
my pussy, and RAM it, baby, harder, harder, oh fuck me dirty you bastard,
i'm your bitch and you know i want it." In other words, they are expecting
language that partakes of the breaking of taboos which oppress them in
daily life. they seek release from repression, and "nasty" talk is such a
release.

Overweight guys with red hair do tend to like it, thin Eastern European
guys into the art scene are kind of ambivalent, curly-haired Irish
Italians who watch a lot of TV like it a lot, while short, young-looking
waspish types who are into the hard sciences are not so into it... OH
COME ON!

There is a difference worth noting here, though, & one should find out
whether "talk dirty to me" means the former or the latter.

I know a guy who's rather into the former. I HATE that! Christ, I want
to have sex, not start a conversation! Say dirty words over & over,
fine, but don't try to engage any part of my brain other than the
lowest..

Hey, some of you guys gave some very good advice.
Could you help me out also?

Switch her for him
and girlfriend for boyfriend.

It's not a standard situation, but she said she would enjoy hearing it
once and awhile. Can you women help a guy out?

Thanks

Ah, again we enter the realm of "it takes all kinds"...I cannot stand guys
who want to use negative-connotation words like bitch, dirty, whore,
nasty, and such when fucking. (Regular colloquial descriptive words like
cunt and cock are normal for me and i use them freely.) However, i do VERY
much like it when, in the past (alas) a couple of my lovers have been
quite conversational in a way that i am sure others in this newsgroup
would find a total turn-off.

My heart swells with fond memory and my cunt throbs in nostalgia when i
recall a certain brown eyed man, fucking with me, stroking back the hair
from my eyes, and asking, "Do you know much about the harmonic ratios
between musical notes?" I said that sure, i had a basic knowledge of the
concept, why? He held me to him and squeezed my ass. "How about the
differences between the different modes, like the Lydian and the Dorian
and the..." Sure, i said, i had some of that memorized and some of it i
had worked out on little wheel-charts i had invented for myself more than
a decade ago. "Are they convenient?" he asked, his cock moving in and out
rhythmically, his hand on my breast. We turned a bit onto our sides. I
propped myself up on one elbow. I pressed my clit hard against his public
bones in a long, slow roll. I told him that they were just in the next
room. "Oh, you're so wonderful," he said, "can we look at them
after...we...do...this...some...more...?" And i told him yes, i would show
him all the little wheels with the Aeolian mode and the Ionian mode and
the...oh, oh. oh...

What can i say? I loved the guy.

Another time while we were fucking he actually grabbed a piece of paper
and a pencil off my nightstand and drew a diagram, using my chest as his
desk, of how to derive a root-five rectangle and use it to make a
logarithmic spiral that approximates the numerical Fibonacci series and
while i was studying it he masturbated me steadily with one hand and
rubbed his cock along my thigh with the other.

Love and sex among the eccentric intelligensia. I wish he were with me
today.

Probably better to ask him then to ask us. Each has their own
idea of what "dirty" talk is. One lady I know likes me to read
PENTOUSE letters to her while she sucks my cock; Another likes me
to yell, "You fucking SLUT!" at the top of my lungs and spank her
while fucking her.

Everyone is different.

> 2 -- explain to me why men get so turned on by this

Not just men, but women too. And not all of either-- The reason,
however, is because our most erogenous "zone" is the one between the
ears.

I'm not really into dirty talk myself but my girlfriend did
talk dirty to me on one accasion that was extreamly arousing.

She was on top and I was somewhat leverage disadvanteged.
She looked down at me and said "fuck me"

Just two words but the WAY she said it.
Like come on - fuck me
fuck me harder
FuuUUuuuUUuuuuck ME
come on
Fuck Me

Startled me at first, then I started trying harder and really got wrapped
up in it.

I wouldnt recomend trying that with someone on top of you
I got so carried away I would have broken her pelivis if on top.
So it wouldn't have worked, wouldnt have let myself get that carried away.

ANYWAY, I digress.
sigh
To bad she doesnt get back for another 44 hours

Sure, Lynda... try these:

1. I just love your cock inside me!
2. Nail me, you stud!
3. Deeper! DEEPER! Bang me hard!
3a. Faster! FASTER! Bang me hard!
4. I love fucking you!

In answer to your second question, I would NOT say that men like to hear you
say things to reinforce their sexual prowess and virility. Oh no, definitely
not that. They want to heighten YOUR pleasure. Yeah, that's it!
