I have started this thread so that there is place for any information about
ASSTR.org to be posted in one place. I'm sorry if you expected a great
revelation about the disappearance of July 13, 2022 but I don't have one.
Unfortunately in the two plus months since then there has NOT been a word
from the administrators.
That wonderful archive has not been totally lost. Someone created
<<asstr.xyz>> which is a partial clone of asstr.org from shortly after
March 13, 2021. Let me repeat -- it is NOT complete. Whether this is
because the site was not copied completely or it was not reassembled
correctly I do not know. If the later maybe it can and will be repaired.
The person responsible for asstr.xyz sent me the following:

I found a BitTorrent agent which I installed and got the file. It is
www.asstr.org.rar dated May 11, 2017 and 9.5GB. It seems to be a complete
clone of asstr.org. A more recent one would be better but twenty years is
far better than none although not as good as twenty-five years. Expanded
it is 21GB.
I suggest that you read about how BitTorrent operates before you install
the agent and decide to keep it.
I tried searching for another asstr file but was not successful. It may be
either because there is not any or I did not search correctly. Perhaps
someone can find one post here.
