After doing some digging, through WHO IS, and running a reverse IP Lookup I've come across this non for profit called Internet Free Literature Corporation

While I am still in the process of looking into this it's a good start, I shall keep Ya'll updated.
link is ownership information of asstr.org.

Any questions or tips please don't hesitatee to comment.

I have found even more information, down to the specific person, but to preserve their privacy I won't be posting that. I believe that the revival of Asstr(dot)com is one out of preservation and not some conspiracy theory involving a sting / honeypot. I say this because you look at AO3, and Sexstories(dot)com to name a few, they both have the same content Asstr is known for. This is just my opinion anyways, as I must work now and shall leave You's with this little nugget of reassurance. Looking forward to chatting with y'all.

Sorry to disappoint you, but we know all this already. Just look at the posts from Santayana.
asstr was always registered to the Internet Free Literature Corporation.
Every DOJ sting operation requires a cover story.

I will note that the organization we're all talking about is
ASSTR.ORG, not asstr.com.

I have a hard time understanding the timeline of what you are alleging.

Is your claim that ASSTR was a "DOJ sting operation" from the very beginning?
Or that at some point, the DOJ took over control of "Internet Free Literature Corporation?" And when would that have happened, before or after the 2017 crash that left the site so hobbled that it is basically nonfunctional?

This is true, I suppose, but at the same time it's one of those non-falsifiable statements that doesn't advance the ball one millimeter. It could be applied to anything, at any time, and doesn't require any evidence to support it.

I suspect that atfmog (you got your attributions wrong) didn't realize
that Internet Free Literature Corporation has always been ASSTR's
base. I was wondering about that, myself.

Still doesn't change the fact that we haven't heard anything from Admin for years. I'd like to know who is running the site.
