While we're all waiting for ASSTR to come back up, you can find my latest
story, "Still Life: Ellie" on either Stories OnLine, or my own web-site.
It's a bit different take for me because no robots in this one. Instead, a
different kind of fantasy.

Also the web-version fixes some typos that are in the ASSM
some-day-to-be-posted version, and has an illustration.

Let me know what you think!

Okay I will. I think it's very different and yet maybe not so different. I
enjoyed reading it and think you did a fine job on it. Besides, I'm a
sucker for a good love story.

I didn't know you'd finished it, so I paused to go read it.

I agree with Sky. It's different, but not so different. I'm going to
disagree with you that there are no robots in this one while agreeing
that it is a different kind of fantasy.

And as I've pointed out several times here, I'm also a sucker for a
good love story and this certainly was one.

Details to follow when I e-mail you in the morning. Of course, you
know this means I won't have time to read "Lindsey's Story" or "Jungle
Bunny" tonight? And it's all *your* fault that "A Fifth of Djinn"
won't be sent in until tomorrow now. If the story hadn't been so good,
I could have quit in the middle and returned to it later.
