I suppose it's kindof a morbid subject, but I can't help but think about
it as I update my website. What is plush "death"? When does a plushie
"die"? As I was writing about Feral the Weasel tonight, I couldn't help
but wonder, is he dead? I really feel guilty about him not being here.
I can't help but wonder if I inadvertantly left him in the gas station
on my way home from Erie last September. Did he fall out of the car
while I was at the rest stop? I know he was with me when I left, even
though a part of me still hopes he's safe in Erie right now. Or at
least in a good home with someone. Although I consider him "Missing in
Action" I can't help but wonder if he's dead as far as plushies are
concerned. When a plushie is lost, is that plushie "dead", even though
he/she may have been found and is now in a safe, good home? I suppose
to the original owner they're gone, even though they really aren't.
Does a plushie only truly die when they end up in pieces in a trash pile
somewhere? I'll still take plushies along with me on trips, but you can
bet I'm going to be a lot more careful with them. Especially
considering not only the loss of Feral, but my recent loss of the Alf
that Galen gave to me (though I believe he's around here somewhere, he
didn't travel with me to the best of my memory).

Well I certainly appreciate you looking, however I doubt that he'll be
there. I sincerely hope that he is, even though it's only a small
chance.

My condolences on your loss. I also have the Folktales roos, and they
are both very special to me. I'd hate to lose either of them. I'm
sorry about your loss.

I too am usually very protective of my plushies. I guess I just wasn't
protective enough this time. I did leave Foxworthy Fox at your place.
But I did that on purpose, knowing how much you like foxes and all.

Indeed. I consider Feral 'Missing in Action'. If he was found, I
wonder what the person thought when they got his scent.

I'm sure he's around here somewhere. I've asked, but no one at the
house has seen him. If he was tossed because of his smell, they would
have had to toss out most of my other plushies as well. Furthermore, I
keep the smell strickly inside my room.

Mmmmmm. I can't wait to meet him! See ya!
