My mother-in-law gave me her old sewing machine. A Sears Kenmore
model 158.13033. I contact Sears about a manual and they can't
provide one. Does anyone know where I can find one? I'm mainly
trying to correctly identify the various knobs - I'm a complete sewing
newbie! Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give me!

Awesome response time!

Hi denacho70,
There is an instructional video for your Sears Kenmore Sewing Machine
Model #158.13033, at:

I can't find a manual either, but the video is very good.
(Sorry, you'll have to type it in... I don't know how to make it a link)

Google is usually a Very Good Friend indeed, but in this particular
case that site does not show a zipper foot for that particular
machine model. :-(

Perhaps Ron can help:

I'm unfamiliar with the Kenmore 158.13033, but another search
located this:

Low shank

That machine was made for Sears by Jaguar/Maruzen, so many of the generic Japanese feet of
the same shank style will fit it. https://www.anniescatalog.com/pages/which_foot.html

If memory serves, a high shank foot fits this machine, and you can pick one up from any
sewing machine shop, most chain fabric stores, and maybe even Walmart. Brand of foot
doesn't matter, just the shank style.
