I did some research into quilting frames a few years ago, and then got
sidetracked and so have not yet bought one myself. However, there were
a couple of companies who sold kits with varying degrees of assembly
necessary. I'll list all the sources I found -- check the back of
Threads magazine for more up-to-date information.
Klaus B. Rau Co. Sells complete frames, old prices ranging
P.O. Box 1236 from $150.00 for 30" wide to $230.00 for
Coeur d'Alene, ID 83814 120" wide, with extra rails available.
(208)664-3942 Also sells plans & hardware for quilting
frame -- old price $27.49 -- you buy all
the wood.
Calcro Products Sells complete frames, old prices ranging
405 East D St. from 290.00 for 30" wide to $390.00 for
Petaluma, CA 94952 106" wide, with extra rails available.
(707)778-1211 Also sells a partial kit -- old price
$120.00. They provide frame and instructions;
you provide rollers and rail and finish
assembly.
Hapco Products Sells complete frames, old prices ranging
46 Mapleview from $105.00 for crib size (50") to $285.00
Columbia, MO 65202 for 90", with extra rails available. No kits.

Jasmine Heirlooms Sells complete frames, you select pieces for
104 Ashford Ave. a custom frame. Choose between two sets of
Greenville, SC 29609 decorative frame end pieces, different rail
(803)232-9482 lengths, etc. Old prices $215-285 for ends,
rails 1.75/foot/rail.
I don't know if these places are still even in business, but at least
they give you a place to start. When (?!?) I'm ready to buy, I'll
probably buy the Jasmine -- it is has several nice features and is also
beautiful to look at -- something to consider if you're going to have
something set up in the middle of your house for an extended period
of time!
Good luck!
