You can purchase many sewing machine manuals for a very
reasonable cost at:

I have a manual and parts list for the Penncrest model 2601... It was
marketed by J.C. Penny. Is this the model you are looking for ? If so, I
could scan it and send it on. I am looking for beveled gear parts for this
machine. Any ideas where I could look ?

I think folks do a search for a particular phrase, and when
they find *any* message containing that phrase they reply to
it without checking the date. sewgirls.com doesn't exactly
display the date prominently, it's actually kind of hidden
in a fuzzy bar *above* the message.

... do they come to this newsgroup, automatically
somehow, from a web site forum ?
