Does anyone in the UK have a Brother Compal Galaxie (Model 870)? Made
in the early 80s, it has a talking function and basic coded pattern
stitching. Me and my sister are artists based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne
we are doing a research project into the sewing machine and its
features (more info here www.thecompalgalaxie.co.uk), we're looking to
get our hands on any machines still out there in working condition.
Please get in touch if you might be able to help us out, or if you've
have encountered this particular sewing machine and would like to
share your experiences of using it. Much appreciated, Peter
