We have come across a problem with Win XP and Personalizer 2000 and the bmp
image that is saved with easy import. For example if a simple outline is
scanned in using scan and sew pc, with Easy import as the editor, then
apply a simple fill, then save the .sew file.

On re-opening the .sew file, the .bmp image is now blank. - The .sew file is
fine with the fill, but the bmp image is now blank. This problem seems to
have appeared since XP install. We've checked the .bmp using a image
program and it is saved as a blank.

Apologies if this isn't overly clear as I'm asking this question for my
wife, my understanding of Personalizer is limited. Any advice would be
appreciated ?

As I understand it you cannot use either Janome Customiser or Personliser
2000 with Windows XP
It should though work fine on Win 98

Thanks for the response, Janome seem to think it works with XP as the call
log response states that they have had no problems ?

Yes it worked fine on 98 !

Now where have I heard that kind of response before !!!!!!!!!
Funny but Janome USA have admitted and fitted for free a little bar to stop
the bobbins jumping up and out of position
Janome UK claim no UK machine has suffered the problem !!!!!!!
Funny but mines a pain in the butt and i am tired of telling Janome to match
their USA service
