My aunt gave me her machine and it appears to work great. I don't see in the manual how to download or use downloaded designs from the internet. What format and how do I get them to be useable? Is there a card that I need?

Thank you for any help you can offer.

Babylock uses .pes format.

I don't have a Babylock, but this may help:

Thank you - I will watch. My Babylock is older than that... it doesn't use a jump drive. :(

It may be that your machine has no capability of importing designs.
As I said before, I do not have a Babylock. I just looked at the
online manual
http://babylock.com/ftp/whitepapers/Esante_BLN_QuickRefGuide.pdf
And I do not see any reference to importing designs, or any
image/description of either cabling or memory card slots for doing
that. If that is the case, you may be limited to the designs which
came pre-loaded in the machine.

Ron Anderson may jump in here with better information, or you may
want to contact him:

Ron is and expert, and very generous with his advice over on

I just dug a little deeper. I have no way of knowing if this
information applies to YOUR machine, but jump to page 144 of this
link:
http://babylock.com/ftp/whitepapers/Esante_BLN_InstructionRef.pdf

If your machine has USB cabling capability, it would appear that you
DO have the ability to download designs from the internet and upload
them to your machine.

Or not... again, I don't have any experience with Babylocks. I am
a Singer QuantumXL6000 gal.

:-D
