For all of you experienced at embroidery, what can you tell me about
using freezer paper for stabilizer. Can anyone explain the advantages
as well as the disadvantages of using this for a stabilizer. I can
imagine that it is cheaper than regular iron on stabilizer but I want
to know if it will it harm my machine in any way? Thanks. PK

I don't think freezer paper will hurt your machine. It might dull the
needle some. I sometimes use it for my test designs, but don't use it
on clothes or anything.

I read in a post somewhere that little pieces of freezer paper will
get into your machine and cause damage. I personally would not use, I
purchase tear-away from WalMart for $1.17 per yard and use spray on
for positioning my fabric. (More cost effective compared to having
machine in shop for a week?)

Yes - I do the Wal-Mart thing too. I also do the 50% off coupon at JoAnn when I
need some for less than the big WM.
