Has anyone played this OLD game? It says copyright 1990, if that means
anything....It's actually a decent platformer. I had never seen it before,
looked decent on the box, so i picked it up($5), pretty sweet considering the
oldness. Also picked up BEavis and Butthead for $5...and Shaq-Fu for 95
cents!! LoL, i saw that and had to get it, just because it was 95 cents. A good
friend of mine's dad rang me up, he didn't charge me for it. When i played it
at home, i understood....so so awful. I did them a favor, they had like 9
copies of the game. It was at a comic book type store, they deal in used video
games, had a lot of Sega Genesis games, but i was short on cash so i didn't get
any other ones...They didn't have any decent six button controllers, which i
wanted to get...Ah well, i'm rambling, time to go play some more NBA Jam(so so
fresh).

Oh, i got a question: Can you recommend any games that are worth getting that
won't cost me my left nut to buy cause they're hard to find? Thanks,

RYAN

Columns, Super Baseball 2020, Biohazard Battle, Strider, Vectorman,
Castlevania: Bloodlines, all of which can be had for well under $10
apiece. Check out my webpage for some ratings/reviews.

Is Micro Machines 96 the same thing as Micro Machines 2?

Nope, they're different games - but the only difference between them is that
MM'96 has a track editor so you can construct your own tracks (though I thought
it was crap, to be honest). Both have the same frantic 4-player action, so get
whichever one you can get hold of! In fact, both of them have VERY similar
tracks. Personally, I prefer MM2 (though that's probably just because MM2 was
the first one I played!).

Which one do the rest of you guys prefer?

Matt

really?
i found it cool, the fact that you can use the machine gun to shoot in the
background as well as in the foreground. also i think the graphics are
pretty good for the time

"Same game engine" as in the graphics quality is exactly the same,
right?

MM2 was definitely the best - it's a close run thing, but MM 96 didn't
seem quite as well put together. (MM2 is also easier to find, if
you're looking for a copy! Make sure you get the J-cart version, not
the two-player only one.)

Micro Machines Military took a slightly different approach, (i.e.
shooting each other) which didn't really work IMO.
