I bought the game and I can't complete a pass if my life depended on it. The
only way I can make a drive continue is if I rush the ball every play! Is
there a trick to passing? I would say half of the passes I throw are knocked
down at the line of scrimmage.

IT'S PISSING ME OFF!!!!!!!!!!!

So if any of you wonderkids now the secret, tell the old man.

I haven't played Madden '95 but if it's anything like the other EA Sports
football games (which I imagine it is) I think I can help you. First of
all, don't be afraid to drop back 10-15 yards if you're getting that much
pressure from the Defensive line. Also throw the quick slants and roll
outs. If all else fails just throw out of the shotgun. Another thing to
consider is if you are throwing bullet passes or touch passes. If you are
holding down the button too long, the pass will be more likely to get
deflected. Try just tapping the button to get the ball up over the defense.

My personal favorite play is to go in the ProForm, All Streaks formain,
snap the ball, drop back about 5-7 yards quickly, and fire the ball to
the receiver on the left side (A button I think) Seems to pick up 40-50+
yards for me. Good luck... and just tap the button, don't hold it down.

If you had Madden '93 or '94 the manual would tell you.
If you hold the button down A,B or C the quarterback throws a hard pass
which is flat.
if you tap the button and let go, the quarterback throws a lob (high
arching pass). As you get the hang of it, you will see the longer you
hold the button the harder and flatter the pass

good luck

Try dropping back further than you have been. I drop back about
10-15 yards. Also, don't hold down the passing button so long or it will
end up as a line drive, and if a lineman is in the passing lane, it will
be tipped. Try hitting the passing button quickly, then letting it go --
you will probably need to play with this a bit.
