Not the same Ray Gordon, as far as I know. Ray Gordon's real name is
Gordon Roy Parker, and the Library of Congress' Copyright database
shows him as the creator of one book, although he claims to have
written four. He may have written four books, but he's only registered
his copyright for one of them, a book written in 1994. From The library
of Congress' records:
