Ray, why is it that anyone besides you who has any success at all just
scored an "empty-net goal?" But if you have success, it was because you
took advantage on an "open three?"
What's the difference between the two? From all the descriptions of
"open threes" that you've given in the past, it appears that any
success based on an open three would be cosidered an "empty-net goal"
and you've claimed that those don't count.
So, your method tells you to wait for opportunities that don't count.
That's not a very good method at all. Talk about destroying someone's
confidence and self-esteem: telling someone that every success they
have doesn't count because she was interested in him in the first
place, yet advising people to wait until she shows interest.
What is your purpose in giving people depressingly conflicting advice
like this?
