Yes you are. You're also using a "stopping someone" excuse as a reason
to do so.

So do you. I'll be glad to post your lies for others to see again if
you'd like.

> No matter how much proof he's

And you come up with extremely elaborate explanations to justify your
lying.

Yeah, we point out your lies, then you cry "LIBEL!" So you deflect
attention from that by attacking Ross by claiming to be superior to
him.

> Poor Ross
> can't handle superior competition

Are you suggesting that in order to be superior, you must earn less
money than your competition? I mean, we agree that this is true.

In what ways are you superior competition? Not by marketing ... you've
done no media marketing save for the internet and a brief mention in
Playboy magazine (which *is* something to brag about, I would think --
regardless of Odious' comments that it wasn't anything worthwhile. I've
not read the article, so I don't know the particulars.). You market
almost solely on Usenet.

Not by support ... Ross offers a Money Back Guarantee, which you
absolutely refuse to offer.

Not by sales ... Ross sells more than you do, thanks to his advertising
and media exposure. (or maybe in spite of it ... at least people know
he exists. Much fewer people know about you and your book, Ray.)

The only way you can claim to be superior competition is to have a
superior product. But most here do not believe your product is superior
to Ross'.

So you by choice are waging an uphill battle to convince people who
don't want to be convinced that your product is better. It's rather
like going into a Pentacostal Holiness church and trying to convert
everyone there to Islamic fundamentalism. Perhaps Islam *is* superior
to Pentacostal Holiness ... but you won't ever convince the people at
that church to convert.

So why waste that effort? Why is it so important for you to convince
*us* that your product is worth supporting, when we already have
products and authors we support?

> so he WHINES LIKE A BABY and insults,
> when in fact I know how to get women better than he does.

In which case you should consider yourself fortunate and happy. But you
don't. You feel cheated and have this need to attack everyone who
doesn't agree 100% with you.

You do so quite frequently, so I suppose you believe it is.

> I would think having my

Posts can be forged, and declarations of love aren't always what they
seem. I don't go for public displays of affection anymore anyway. If
I'm happily dating someone, then fantastic. If you're happy in your
relationship, Ray, then good for you.

You can try to fool me -- I don't think I'm that easily fooled
(although I have been fooled in the past) ... but if you try to fool
yourself, then you just might be foolish enough to let yourself be
fooled.

> Ross's marketing tactics are disgusting.

Yet Ross has quite a bit more business than you. You had to take one of
your books and put it in the bargain bin, which means that the sales
must not have been so good for that product.

This is why we continue to respond to you.

Surely you know better than that. The only way someone can TRULY be
shut up on Usenet if they want to keep posting is for them to die.

Even if you disable their internet access, they can go to the local
library and use the computers there and use Deja.com to post in a worst
case scenario. Or go to a friend's house.

You have shown yourself to be powerless to shut people up.

Actually, it appears that you're the one who's flailing ... bragging to
the group that you're cashing in your chips, then thanking the group
for pointing out the lies of your "ex-girlfriend," then later begging
her to say who she loves, then gloating over some perceived victory
that means something only to you.

I mean, if you're dating someone who accepts you for who you are,
that's wonderful. I wish you all the best.

Ok, let's look at this objectively:

One day you're cashing in your chips, one day you're thanking us for
pointing out what a liar she is, the next day you're dating her, the
next day you've only talked online, the next day you have a
girlfriend, the next day she isn't.

This speaks reams of the effectiveness of Foxhunting. If you want an
on-again, off-again online relationship, it seems that Foxhunting is
the most effective route to take.

I prefer real life relationships, thank you very much.

P.S. My remarks about Islam and Pentacostal Holiness do not reflect my
opinions of such religions and were used strictly as a demonstrative
example. I'm a Christian Taoist, personally.
