---------------
So, I've decided I need some male friends (maybe more eventually).
I've been a single mom for too long and all my friends are other
single moms. I would like a little male attention (non-romantic, for
now). See i have a tendency to rush rush rush. Which gets me no where
fast! So I want to meet a nice, cute, employed SINGLE MAN (no boys
please) that I can get to know slowly, who would love to change a
light bulb for me (I'm short) or help me move, or haul a bed upstairs.
And of course take me to movies, out for drinks, to the coast, to the
mountains etc...
I need someone who can understand that my kids come first, and would
be happy and willing to include my kids in activities. I have 3, by
the way.
I work hard and play hard. I like to be active, love to swim (just
recently learned how). I am a Christian, and although I don't require
my friends to be the same, you can't be anti-religion or athiest, it's
just not good for me.
I'm super honest and totally real. No bull and no games.
I have a lot of pictures if you need to see what I look like. Really
though, I am cute :)

I feel sorry for any dude who falls for this trap! What sort of AFC
would spend money on "movies, out for drinks, to the coast, to the
mountains etc..." for some chick he is not gonna have a chance
with? ...And he has to take the 3 kids too?
uggghhhhh. Women would not post this crap if men did not fall for
it... quite sad really.
Is that number, at the top of the page, her age? Geeez.. if so, at 25,
how did she manage to pop out 3 kids so quickly???

Let's get better!
"Cute Confident Fun"
Cute? To whom?
Confident? Not when you need an emotional tampon.
Fun? Doesn't sound much like it.
Has it ever occurred to you that the woman may just be telling the
truth?
Lori
I believe that is what makes it all the more scarier.

I'd be scared of having her as a female friend...she's so needy - what
with 3 kids and a busy life..I can feel a baby sitting request coming
on!
She's looking for a house husband...and she's a Christian...red flag!
Peanut
All I know is, I couldn't fathom having a house husband... and NO SEX.
I really have to wonder how these Christian women manage to live in such
a way.
It's pretty scary what religion can convince a person into thinking and
doing, isn't it? With a little brainwashing and the right push, a
religion can convince a person that some people are less than human.
Convince them that sex is dirty or wrong. Convince them that getting an
immunization shot against cervical cancer is "devil's play" at work.
I'd hate to see the guy that falls for this. But hey... Gordon's
available. That might be a... oooohhhhh..... bad pun alert... a match
made in heaven.

I agree. It seems like a lot to ask of someone. If I were a guy it
wouldn't sound very appealing to me.
Could you imagine a guy posting this as a personals ad? ;D

He'd have to be as stupid as - if not stupider than - Ray to seriously
offer up being a "girlfriend" to some woman with nothing of benefit for him.
You can see that the type of proposal being made is basically a
one-sided transaction, with the woman getting all the benefits and the
man getting none. And she'll wonder why no guy wants to be friends or
thinks all men are interested in is sex. Notwithstanding that issue,
look at the thing and tell me exactly what is this woman offering a guy
to want to bother with her?
Actually, if a guy was posting such a thing, he'd be demanding a woman
who would be available for sex - and blow jobs - any time he wants it,
would let him have other women, would be willing to clean up after him,
and might even expect her to support him and/or pay his bills.
Guys post some crazy ones all on their own.
They're fun to read & laugh at.
Wouldn't consider doing myself or answering on either.

Then again, there are guys they fly out to Russia for mail order
brides...

She's offering to be a master. To someone willing to be a slave. It would
be more or less akin to asking a mouse to be introduced to a room full of
starving cats. And then wondering why the mouse runs away at top speed.

Photo of truck and boat required. Personal photo optional. ;P Yep.
Can't imagine the outcry that would generate...
Yes they do. But something that would be akin to this would get more than
laughs. It would get hate mail and probably be removed from the personals
as some sort of joke. Which it what it would be, basically.

Seemed to be more of a requirement than a request.

On demand... or at very least, with rare refusal rights...

Her ad didn't seem to care about the man having a life.
>> would let him have other women,

She, I'm sure, would want to have other friends. Maybe lovers. She's
essentially saying she's looking for a total loser and sucker. The
reversal of the ad would have this requirement for a woman.

Same here... a woman that is looking for a man to care for her, support
her, be her emotional tampon, take care of her kids, help her clean
house, but get no sex or other physical contant...
The reverse ad would be just as it was listed here. Of course no woman
would go for it. Just as no man would even being to consider this woman's
ad as anything other than a totally idiotic idea. It's quite a repulsive
"request".
