The classic "converted shill" routine: pretend to be neutral (or have been

I really fail to understand why you do not realize that 'every person' who
comes in here for the first time IS NEUTRAL where you are concerned. It's
so simple - they've never heard of you - you are NOT A WELL KNOWN PERSON.
The newbies to this group could not care less about Ray Gordon.
But almost every one of them, after visiting this newsgroup a few times,
forms an opinion about you based on your posts.
Really, Ray, the opinions that people form about you are based on YOUR OWN
POSTS.
Almost no one is brain dead enough to form opinions of people based on what
others post about them. They do not know the people posting so they do not
have any reason to believe that the opinions of others would match their
own opinions. Reasonable people will form their own opinions of you based
on what YOU POST, not what others post about you.
Which means that YOUR OWN ACTIONS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE OPINIONS THAT
OTHER PEOPLE FORM ABOUT YOU!
And you, for absolutely no reason at all except perhaps an odd fantasy
floating around in your mind, called me a shill! And you have made
unsubstantiated claims that you would not back up with facts when I asked
you to. And you do not bother to do anything to back up the claim that your
"seduction theories" work even though I've asked you to.
These actions of yours have caused me to form an opinion about you. It is
not a positive opinion. You could change this opinion, which I've formed by
observing your posts, if you wanted to. All you would have to do is stop
calling people shills for no reason that's obvious to anyone but you, by
backing up all claims that you make in your posts, and by providing
evidence that your "seduction theories" actually work.
I truly believe that if you would do those three simple things many people
would form a different opinion about you than the opinion that they hold
now. And those three things are not difficult things to do. Most people
behave in that way all the time in their daily lives. They don't accuse
people of something that they do not have proof of. They only make claims
that they back up with facts. They do not balk at providing proof that
products or services they provide are effective.
Now, being completely honest with you, I do not expect you to do even ONE
of these three things. I do not expect you to believe that I am giving this
advice in all sincerity, although I am. I think that your world view will
not let you even consider acting in this manner. Which is unfortunate, not
only for you but for everyone in every newsgroup and forum you post in.
