A bitter former runway model, Anita Debnath has been stalking a man Chay
Ankers, for nearly 5 years. The news emerged today at the Leicester Crown
Court in London where the hearing took place.

After getting the email Ankers and his girlfriend Melanie decided to go for
a medical checkup. They passed all the medical tests as clean and Ankers
replied back to Anita stating the reports.
But Anita was not the one to give it up easily and called up Chay again on
his Mobile. Ankers recalled " I responded to her email and said we had been
checked out and cleared. About a week later she called up my mobile and was
going on about it and this time I was quite rude and told her to f*** off
and leave me alone".
Anita then began using a web forum named Avengers Den to get tips on how to
get even with both Ankers and Hamlet. She used tips from the erb forum to go
go to their local pub, moved the the same town as the Ankers and Hamlet. She
also sent letters to Melanie saying that Ankers was involved in other
affairs. One time she coated Melanies car with paint strippers and also
slashed its tyres.
She paid Far Eastern Hackers $110 a time, to gain access to Ankers email box
and later sent gay porn to his account. She also sent up a website damning
him and his dating methods and sent messages to his coworkers stating that
Ankers stalked her!
Ankers and Melanie changed email accounts and moved out for holidays. But
Anita flew down to Venezuella where the pair was holidaying and stalked them
there.
Recalls Ankers "It is scary that she followed us all the way to Venezuela. I
couldn't see how one night stand nearly four years ago could make someone
behave like that. It's just bizzare. " I never knew I was that good, Chay
smiled.
He added " All she has ever said is that I've given her a disease and it's
completely untrue. We had Sellotape over the letterbox to guard against
flaming envelopes, bin bags over the windows and were carrying out all night
vigils.
But Anita's campaigns didnot stop here. Now living in Prioriy Walk ,
Hinckley, Leicestershire, Anita faced three charges of dishonestly
attempting to obtain three $100,000 in the names of Ankers and a relating of
Ankers on February 18, 2005. She wanted to obtain a 2nd loan for $100,000 in
Melanies name, and yet another one of $12,500 the next day.
Anita was banned on january 2005 from making contacts with Ankers or
Melanie. She admitted 5 computer related offences and perverting the course
of justice.
Judge Collis told Debnath that she was suffering from an 'acute mental
state' but he didnot want to jail her.
"You are set on a course of destruction, fuelled by your jealousy and need
for revenge. The only way forward is to give you the guidance and
rehabilitation you need" - the judge observed. Just get over him or find
someone like him and move on with your life.
But Anita, who reoffended, is back in court. James Varley, prosecuting, told
the jury yesterday "The prosecution case is not that this women tried to get
more than $400,000 - that's not her motivation. In 2001, after an office
party, they had a one-night stand, and that's where it comes from. For the
last four years she'd had a fixation about this man.. She stated that she
had never met a man that could make her feel the way she did with Chay.
tracey Morgan, director of support group Network for Surviving Stalking,
commented - "This case is horryfying. People are becoming more and more
aware of electronic stalking. The internet, emails and texting are fantastic
tools, but in the wrong hands these dating methods can be instruments of
terror".
