I'm not shy. If somebody tells me what to say to a HB, I have no problem saying
it. However, I have a little difficulty coming up with things to say on the fly,
when approaching.
Are there any good generic openers that can be used in most situations?
I think I saw this one on TV:
A guy starts throwing all kinds of well known lame PU-lines at a HB, but
sometimes he interrupts himself with "I don't usually do this / say things like
this". I thought the whole thing was funny, original and GENERIC. Too bad it was
on TV.
I'm sure there are more generic openers that I just haven't heard of. What are
they?
Also, what good openers can be used in a university gym?
HERE ARE THREE TYPES OF SITUATIONS THAT I FIND MYSELF IN REGULARLY: However,
despite this regularity, I'm at loss for words:
1) I'm stretching (either standing or lying on the mat), a HB is stretching next
to me. Possible openers?
2) Working out in the weight room (I absolutely can't ask a HB for an advice on
lifting. It will be lame in my situation, as I was lifting for a few years, and,
"unfortunately" it shows)
3) A HB walks by to have a sip out of the water fountain.
Thanks in advance! I really do need your advice!
