VPN SSH

Has anyone had any experience using VPN or SSH services I found a
company who guarantees they protect your privacy, they are pricey, but
I have not seen to many other companies that offer this.

Not exactly answering your question, but those two tools can get
around the encryption with local access to your computer.

If you're looking to save a few bucks and you don't want to muck around
with SSH tunnels but still have strong security, have a look at OpenVPN.
It's a really excellent SSL based VPN that is also an opensource
project supported by donations.
Clients are available for Mac, Windows 2000/XP/Vista and Linux. The
site is www.openvpn.net if I remember correctly.
